"Went to get coffee," Steve said, looking at him for a moment before going to pull a water bottle out of the fridge. "How did last night go? Apart from the copious amounts of alcohol you clearly imbibed."

"Last night was fine," Bucky said, drinking some of his coffee. "Chatted with someone new, it was great."

"Yeah?" Steve looked at him more closely. There was a difference between chatting with and spent the night with. "Was she nice? Are you going to see her again?"

"She was nice enough, yeah," Bucky said. "And how the hell should I know if I'm going to see her again?" Not that he didn't want to, mind, but it was the principle of the thing.

Steve rolled his eyes. "Well did you get her number?" He really kind of hoped so.

"...Yes," Bucky replied after a moment. "Come on, Stevie, you think I'd have left without it? Of course I got her number."

Steve grinned and clapped his shoulder. "Good," he said. "Thought you mighta been too distracted to get her number." He grinned teasingly.

"You're one to talk," Bucky retorted. "I had to get the last three numbers for you."

Steve rolled his eyes at him but decided that was a good time to retreat.

"Do you make amulets?"

The sudden change of subject threw Bucky for a second.

"Why, you need one?" he asked.

"Someone in class was asking," Steve said with a shrug. It wasn't exactly a lie, after all.

"Really?" That was a bit surprising, but he shrugged. "Sure, I can make some. What kind?"

"Something for focus, promoting calm and peace," Steve recited. "She mentioned those two, anyway. I'll find out for sure what she wants."

"She?" Bucky asked, interested. He grinned. "Did you get her number?"

"...Yes," Steve admitted after a moment. "I had to have some way to let her know if you'd make her stuff or not."

Bucky cackled.

"And you were on me about getting a number," he said. "Way to go Stevie, you get to see a naked girl in class and you get a girl's number."

Steve blushed and punched his shoulder, but not too hard. "Shut up, jerk," he grumbled.

Bucky snickered.

"Anyways, yeah, let me see what I can come up with by way of amulets," he said. "I might have something ready by tomorrow."

"I'll let her know," Steve said with a grin, pulling out his phone.

I asked my friend. He said he might have one done by tomorrow.

Chastity grinned when she saw the text.

Good to know. And I'm glad you kept my number.

Of course I kept your number, Steve texted. He'd have been an idiot not to, really.
