"Ianto... weren't we making stir-fry in your apartment." He hadn't wanted to ask but he had to know. Maybe he was just loosing his mind. He watched Ianto to see his reaction. "Am I loosing my mind?" He asked hoping he wasn't. bloodstainedwings:

Ianto thought for a moment. Maybe this is his Jack afterall. "Yes. We were. Jack... is that really you?" Ianto asked putting all his hope into one question. It seemed like forever waiting for an answer even if it was only a few seconds.

"Yes, Ianto what happened?" He still patted the dog... Rosco wasn't it? "All I remember is a flash of light." He looked up at Ianto. He loved this house, this area. But he knew this wasn't where they belonged. No matter how much he wanted it.

"Well there was a flash of light but there was something that caused it too. The stone. Jack, what was that stone?" Ianto as so relieved to have Jack back. He didnt feel alone anymore and knew with great confidence that suddenly everything was going to be ok, because Jack was here with him.

"I have no idea. I have never seen anything like it before." Jack said looking at the ring on his left hand. In this world he was married to Ianto. Did he want to give that up? He let out a sigh. bloodstainedwings:

Ianto searched his pockets but didnt find the stone. "Jack, I dont have the stone. I dont think we can get back" Ianto was so sure that was a bad thing though. Sure, back home, he had adventure and near death experience everyday. But here, he had Jack, without any fears of losing him and he had a safe and secure job. Very different lives, but was either one better or worse then the other. Ianto wasnt sure at all.

"We could stay here. I wouldn't mind. But what about your family. You have one here but don't a thing about them." He hated being the one to bring it up, as he would really just like to stay here but he had to be honest about it all. "But I truly am alright with staying here. And a part of me hopes the team never finds away to bring us back. We're married in this world Ianto." Jack broke into a big smile. "But look lets just eat now and will worry about all this later." Jack said sipping his beer and patting Rosco. bloodstainedwings:

"Yeah, eating seems like a good idea." Ianto spent his meal eating and listening to his surroundings. Jack seemed awful quite too. Ianto had to think this through. Jack was right about his family. His sister would be mad worried about him. And torchwood would be lost without Jack. By the end of the meal Ianto started to wonder about something very very obviously wrong.

"Hey Jack... If we're from another world... and we just got transported here... there should be a Jack and Ianto from this world. The ones that really did get married. If that is true... where are they?"

"You don't think they are in our world do you?" He asked his eyes going wide. "Unless this world was created by one of our subconsciousness. And this is just a world from one of our minds." He knew if the later was the case this world was probably from is subconscious. He takes a bite of steak. It was not to bad if he said so himself. bloodstainedwings:

"Well, if there was any way for torchwood to communicate with us, they would try. So, if nothing happens, either they isnt a way to communicate and therefore no way back or the other Jack and Ianto have replaced us. Boy are they in for a surprise if thats the case" Ianto mused. He took a bite of the steak and was surprised by how good it was and also by how hungry he was.

"Is it wrong that I hope we don't get back?" He asks softly. He really would just like to stay here with Ianto and Rosco. Rosco, he had always wished for a German Shepard named Rosco. "Always wanted a German Shepard." HE commented as he ate. He did hope their team was alright. He did worry about them. bloodstainedwings:

"You know, it might not be so bad being a married couple with a dog. He is adorable isnt he?"Ianto cut off a small peice of his steak and held it down for the dog to eat from his hand. the dog ate it readily, tail wagging and everything. Ianto couldnt help but smile. "But maybe we should at least look into how to get back?

"I guess." He said with out much conviction. He looks out over the rather large backyard. "I wonder what you do for a job. Probably something high up. We'll have to go inside at some point and see what we learn." He continued to pat Rosco. bloodstainedwings:

bloodstainedwings: if you mean about the going inside part he means they will have to go in and look around the house to see if they can find clues on the job Ianto has in this world and just about their life in this world in general.]

Ianto finished his dinner and so did Jack. Ianto got up and took their plates to the kitchen. For never being in this house before, he knew exactly where the kitchen was, in fact he knew where everything was. It was like second nature. "Maybe we wont have any issues in this world. I mean, we both knew Rosco's name without being told, and I knew where the kitchen was without being told or even thinking about it. I think everything with my job will be alright. "

"Yeah. I am glad you are here in this world with me. Wouldn't be nearly as fun if you weren't here." He leaned in and kisses Ianto's cheek. "You know this place, it feels right." He started to clean up the kitchen. Rosco goes to his bowl and started lapping at the water. He hated to admit it but he truly could forget about the others being here. [I probably didn't type it out clearly enough.] bloodstainedwings:

Ianto smiled as he washed the dishes. Jack was right, this felt all too good and all too right. What is wrong with just enjoying being with someone who you cared about? Ianto knew the world needed Jack though. There was the rift too. Ianto was starting to wonder if there as a rift here.. if there was... that was probably their only way home. "Maybe tomorrow we can explore this world a bit? but for now, why dont i just finish doing the dishes. "

"Are you sure? I don't mind helping." Jack said with a smile. He just truly enjoyed spending time with Ianto. A part of him wondered if there was a rift here too. Though if this was truly from his mind then there wouldn't be. He didn't want to go back. He didn't want to fight anymore. He just wanted to stay here with Ianto. He was just so tired of fighting. Tired of being the damn hero. He let out a deep sigh. He was well and truly conflicted. On one hand he knew the rest of the team would need him and Ianto. On the other he just didn't give a damn. bloodstainedwings:

"You know me, Jack. Always so domesticated. You go play fetch with rosco for a while." Ianto said as he filled the sink with water. Ianto liked doing dishes sometimes. It was like making coffee. Good, simple work to help you mind get off the complicated things. He would think everything through later, right now, it was just him and the dishes.

Jack kissed Ianto's cheek. He then gently pinched Ianto's butt before grabbing a Frisbee. "Come on Rosco!" Jack called to the dog. Rosco rushes to Jack's side and the two head out side to play. Jack can't seem to keep his mind from wandering to the rest of the team. He does hope they are doing alright, though he'd still rather be here. He laughed as Rosco jumped into the pond on the property to fetch the Frisbee. Rosco brought it back to Jack and he threw it again. bloodstainedwings:

Ianto finished the dishes rather quickly and stood in the window watching Jack and Rosco. He thought to himself, you know, this really would be nice for at least a while. But he just could shake his concern for the team, the rift and the world. There was just too much at stake for them to be able to have a vacation like this. he sighed and went outside to talk it over with Jack. He wasnt even sure where to start though. But he knew this, was too good to be forever.

Rosco, who is still damp, ran up and jumped on Ianto. Jack laughed watching this, though he could tell Ianto had something on his mind. Deep down he knew what it was. That Ianto wanted to find away to go back to their world. Jack knew that they should, but he really didn't want to. He wanted to stay here. He knew it was selfish, and wrong, but he just couldn't bare the thought of giving this up. bloodstainedwings:

Ianto couldnt help but laugh as Rosco jumped up on him. that damp silly dog was just so loveable. He really didnt want to leave him, but he knew they had to at least try. the world... their world... would be lost without Jack. He had to find a way to get him back. But that could wait, Ianto decided as he threw a stick. Ianto could see that jack loved it here, and figured... what could happen in one day? they can probably make it for one day without Jack.

Jack laughed as Ianto was attacked by a wet Rosco. He knew that Ianto wanted to head back. He could sense it in the other man. But he would push it off as long as possible. Though deep down he knew he'd go back, he always went back. He throws the stick for Rosco as well also getting wet from the German Shepard. He smiled as he watched the sunset. It was just so perfect here. bloodstainedwings:
