Hi there!

I could write four or five paragraphs about myself, tell my whole life story and all that jazz but I like to think there's nothing wrong with keeping it short and sweet. :)

For those of you who are of curious character you may call me Daliah (unless we get to know each other better) or any other variation of my username. I am a twenty three year old woman who is married, has a job, loves reading, writing, and animals - among other things lol.

Did I forget to mention I love meeting new people? :D

Nice, what kind of job do you do? How long have you been married? What time zone are you in?

If you reply, I'd suggest pinging me. It will send me a message with a link to the post that you pinged me in. To ping someone you'll put @ Libra ; (just remove the spaces). Hope you reply soon ^_^

Libra: Me too! I haven't really had time to look around and really "settle in", but I'm sure that will change :).

My job is actually kinda sad lol. I work second shift at Walmart as an apparel associate so I pretty much straighten up clothes for 4-8hrs four days a week lol. My husband and I will be celebrating our very first wedding anniversary the end of this month but that same day will also be the fifth year we've been together as a couple <3. As for my time zone, I'm on CST but only by twenty minutes lol.

Hello Miss Daliah!

It seems to me you'll fit in quite well around here, and I hope you like your stay!

At the very least straightening clothes usually isn't stressful. Are you 20 minutes away from MST or 20 minutes away from EST?

Yeah, settling in can take a little while.

Everyone needs a job. Maybe it's not your favorite thing to do, but it doesn't sound terrible (as long as your co-workers aren't crazy or mean). What kind of job do you want to have?

Aww, sweet :) That's really cool that you got married on the day of your first date? Was that something planned or did you notice it later?

Do you have any children, or going to have children?

ElysiumFate: I certainly hope you're right, I'm enjoying myself so far lol. That's what thought when I got the job there, but some days I just sit back and look at a rack or table of clothing and say "Where do I even start?"

I'm about twenty minutes away from EST.

Libra: I don't mean at all to make it sound like I don't enjoy it lol. Like I said, most days its very low key and uneventful. I think I would go postal some days if I had a couple loons working with me; I'm all for goofing around and enjoying yourself but there is a line that can be crossed lol. Hmmm.....I don't really know honestly, I've probably changed my mind about a thousand times in the last five years XD. I think I'm settled on going to college to be a realtor or a counselor now but who knows. What I REALLY wanna do is be a novelist :D.

It was actually the very first day we started dating, and yes it was intentional :). No kids yet but we're hoping to buy a house soon and have children shortly after.

Now that you know plenty about me, tell me some things about yourself. :P

Yeah, I'm sure the people at Walmart don't respect the clothes much and just tend to throw them around sometimes. The worst store I've ever seen to work in for clothing though was a Forever 21 (if you have those where you are).

Ahh, I'm in MST so I was wondering.

Oh yea, a coworker was telling me today that there was a teen and her little brother looking around in Lady's and the brother kept bouncing a ball off her head and she was just like "yea, ok." So she asked the boy (who was probably about eleven) not to play with the ball in the store (She was concerned he might hit another customer and cause an accident.) and he just looked at her like she was stupid. A little while later she rounded the corner to see the brother and his sister just dropping clothes in the floor while giving her dirty looks. I don't understand why people have to act like a-holes, I really don't.

I know a couple people in MST :P. I don't believe we have them nearby as in a reasonable driving distance, but I've heard of the store before. I'd imagine you have a several similar stories.

*shakes head* People have no respect for people in regular service jobs.

Yeah, Forever 21s are similar. When you go into them the dressing rooms are always trashed and the clothing racks are so unorganized that you'll find the same clothing item in ten different places in the store because no one ever puts it back in the right place.

Oh yea, I completely agree. I was in the shoe department yesterday and this woman's two kids were trying on shoes. Well the boy finished with one pair and after trying for a few minutes to get them back on their little hanger she was like "Don't worry about it, we're buying them anyway." I just nodded, I appreciated that she wasn't just gonna leave it laying there on the bench or around in the bench in the floor (I don't know why people love doing that so much -_-). She tells him to fix this other pair and he replies with "So that other people can try them on?" The woman looks DIRECTLY at me and says "No, so she can put them up like she's suppose to."

Its very hard to make me angry, but I really just wanted to punch her lol. It was like I was a maid cleaning her house, ya know?

*rolls eyes* I know a few people who do that because they think they're insuring people's jobs. It's like no. Those jobs are crap to begin with so you don't need to make them worse.

Yea, if they would just look around any one department they would see we already have plenty of "job security". What makes matters worse is that we're very short handed, some days I have three departments to straighten up in one night. Sometimes it feels completely impossible lol.
