So last Saturday (May 6th, 2014) I got my first tattoo! It's the beginning of a long journey that will take years and years to complete.

So this is what I ended up getting, fresh off the presses:

So the story behind this is pretty simple (and lame I guess). I love technology, I love it and Humans are the most advanced machine on the planet. So I have always dreamed of integrating the two together. Now I could have gone out of my way and integrated crazy robot stuff into me, but that would involve cutting off limbs (probably) and a lot more money than I have. So I went with an easier route, I went with tattoos. The one on me right now is the beginning of a circuit board that is going to run up and around me and connect to a "port" in my spine. It's probably an old idea, but I don't care. I like it.

Right now the one on my arm is very unfinished. I need to go back for further work, my skin made it too hard to properly do the tattoo (he was drawing blood). When I go back the lines will be thickened and evened, etc, etc. For now I'm just waiting for it to heal.

So that's my story and my tattoo, what about you guys?

Tattoos terrify me. I like tattoos, but I don't like the pain that goes with it. And the idea of it being permanant. I'd get one and then 20 years from now on I might regret it. So no tattoos for me

xD Hey, to each his own. For me the permanent part is the best part. This is part of my identity, so I want it to be part of my outward one.

This is my current tattoo:

SPOILERX

It's on my lower back. I found the design YEARS ago, like almost 10 years ago and knew that I wanted it. I love birds, always have. The tattoo is huge on me, going from one side to the other and up to nearly where my waist narrows in the most. At the time, I didn't know that lower back tattoos were one the higher end of being the most painful...

I have a few more that I'm thinking of such as the Fairy Tale logo on my thigh and the stained glass rose from Beauty and the Beast on my shoulder.

I won't jump out and get them right away. The thigh one may come first and that won't be until summer when I have an option of more skirts to wear so I don't upset it. I tend to keep mine bandaged though, it's easier for me to keep lotion on it that way.

I hate pain and I hate needles. The Peacock took 4 different sittings, all for nearly an hour or more. We'll see if I end up actually getting anymore XD
