Celeste was in rather good shape but her head was far from focused. Her mind was numb from all the emotional stress from happy, to joy to overwhelming sadness, nostalgia and past memories, a feeling of lost and fear... She was numb, following Logan like a rag doll, and when they stopped, she collapsed against the nearest tree much like one.

"...I'm sorry." She said softly, her eyes unfocused.

Logan was already carrying all her bags and now he scooped her up as well to bring them the last bit of the way. He found a place for them to bed down, tucking Celeste into a bed while he hung out by the window to keep watch.

Even Coco seemed to be out of it which in a way made sense since they were linked together. He crawled out of her bag and with a little help from the big guy, curled in right beside her.

She looked up at him when he tucked her in and apologized again, this time in Japanese, a clear sign she was out of it. She didn't know why she wasn't on her A-game and continued to say she was sorry till she passed out. But it was understandable, she hadn't been trained like the rest of them at the mansion. Hadn't been taught to deal under stress, to push her body past it's limits...

Logan stared out the window, keeping watch for awhile before his gaze turned back to that pink hair. Watching her as she slept, "... Ceres" he whispered, what exactly had he remembered back there? And who was that mysterious man?

Celeste slept for about 4 hours and it was restless sleep. She dreamt she was falling, the world completely black and the name Ceres echoing over and over and over again, growing louder and louder till she screamed out for it to stop.

She opened her eyes and a shadowly figure stood looking back at her through a glass mirror.

"Ceres." The boy called within the black full view mirror . She stepped toward the mirror, a hand reaching out to touch it.

"No! Ceres come." A man's voice boomed behind her, grabbing a hold of her arm and pulling her painfully away.
"CERES! Don't leave me! Ceres!" The boy screamed.

Celeste found herself without a voice as she struggled against her captor, reaching out toward the mirror and the boy.

A warm lit glowing butterfly flew past her and suddenly her body was slingshoted forward through the mirror and through the boy. Faster and faster she flew through the blackened land till she stopped, a cherry tree stood in a patch of warm white light and a woman stood underneath it.

She had red eyes and long fine black hair. She turned to look at her and mouthed the word, "Soon."

Celeste's body shivered as her eyes shot open. She lay there, staring at the ceiling for some time till she felt her self awareness return to her.

"Where..." She sat up and looked around. Coco began to stir as well.

"Safe" Logan replied, turning his eyes back to the window, "You alright?"

She rubbed her neck, "Yeah... just got really overwhelmed... And really weird dreams." She was forming full sentences which was a good sign, in Japanese but it was a start.

"It's alright, but we should get moving again." Logan replied in Japanese, "... Celeste... was there someone named Ceres in your family? Probably far back?"

The mentioning of the name seemed to bring her some distress, perhaps she'd been dreaming of it.

She shook her head, "I... I'm not sure. The name sounds familiar That man called me that and you did just before you passed out.... Maybe it refers to the gem.." She put a hand on the stone embedded in her chest. It would be so much easier if Grandfather were alive. He knew everything... He'd tell her story after story of such wonderful places and things.

"I was remembering something" Logan replied, "I think she was your ancestor, the same pink hair and that was way back... Samurai's, 1400's maybe?" he looked back at her, the sight of the gem made his head ache so he turned away again.

Celeste flicked the switch on her watch, her appearance returning to a more normal look, the gem fading away into skin.

"I'm sorry, I... Can talk about this later?" The whole subject seemed to not sit well with her. "Coco." The cat hopped into her pocket.

She picked up her bags.

Logan nodded, taking another glance out the window before grabbing the rest of the bags. How they had managed to get away with all this stuff was mildly astonishing.

Meanwhile Scott and the others were landing in Japan. "This would be a lot easier if we had Logan to track" commented the x-men leader.

"Did you land where I told you?" Horatio questioned, getting up from his seat.

"Yes, and you still haven't explained yourself" Scott replied.

"Time travel, duh" Horatio rolled his blank eyes, "head west, they should be heading this way from a small village"

"Better get use to it, Scott. He does this a lot." Victoria said unbelting herself and getting up. "June. Wake up."

June hadn't said a word since take off. She'd parked her butt in a seat, belted herself and was out cold in seconds. Her body was still recovering from all that teleporting. "Hmm? Ok." She disappeared and reappeared outside the X-jet.

"Here." Polly gave Horatio her hand and led him out of the jet.

Horatio took her hand and they walked out, Scott followed. They headed out for awhile before Horatio stopped. "... someone's out there" he whispered.

June pulled out her weapon and so did Victoria.

"I don't see anyone..." Polly whispered back.

"I can hear them" Horatio replied, listening carefully, "they're very quiet..." now that they had stopped moving he could get a better idea of it and his eyes widened, "they're everywhere"

A throwing star came hurling through the air right at Victoria.

June raised her scythe and deflect the star from hitting Victoria. The star fell to the ground.

"Ninjas." She said before disappearing and then reappearing further away, her blade slicing through the branches and a sudden pain cry could be heard as he blade met the one who threw the star.

"They knew we were coming." Victoria positioned herself in front of Polly and Horatio. "Polly-"

The sound of safteys flicking on a pair of hand guns could be heard in Horatio's ears, "I know, shot to kill, stay close and don't do anything stupid."

"Good girl. Scott... try not to shot June." Victoria said taking a defensive stance.

Scott's hand was already on his visor as he took a battle stance, "I can try" he replied.

There were dozens of them, as one fell it was like two more took it's place. Horatio tried to stay in the midst of his sisters as he attempted to sort through this in his head. "Why are there so many? ... he's learning... how?"

Polly stayed close to Horatio, pulling him out of the way when an enemy got to close.

"What?" Victoria barrel rolled over a ninja's back, swung her blade forth and slit the ninja's throat in one swift movement. "You saying there were far less before?!"

"Horatio, cover your ears." Polly ordered, reaching around him and head shooting a charging ninja.

Horatio covered his ears, "I can't... this is... I need a minute" he said before vanishing completely.

((Power went out for a min here. Thunder storm is a coming.))

June appeared beside Victoria.

"How many?"
"You don't want to know." June said, morphing her blade into two smaller scytles and throwing them like boomrangs.
"How MANY?!" Victoria's voice grew louder.

"Victoria, I'm out!" Polly called.

Victoria quickly removed the shield from her back and threw it to Polly to defend herself with.

"...A hundred maybe two...So the timeline isn't the same as he was told."
"No... this is not good. But we need to clear the way for Celeste and Logan. If they run into these guys, they may run the opposite direction."

"Alright but, I expect a large meal after this." June said smiling before teleported off to fight.

Scott had had just about enough, "June, scout a three mile radius, make sure there's no civilians out there. Victoria, Polly, start bringing them in close" he ordered, which could mean only one thing. He was going to level the playing field.

"Give me a min..."June called back, disappearing.

"Can we hold off for that long?" Polly asked.

"We have to." Victoria removed her bracelet and tossed it to Polly. Her arms began to glow red and her blade soon appeared to be on fire.

"Victoria-"
"I know." She quickly shot back. She could hold it for a min.

Scott kept up taking small shots at the onslaught of ninjas though they were being backed towards each other slowly as they closed in.

"Come on June...Come on..." Victoria mumbled to herself.

About 2 mins later, June reappeared. "You're clear." She may have had to move a couple people but he was good to go now.

"Celeste and Logan?" Victoria asked her arms returning to normal, a bit of sweat running down her brow.

June shook her head. "I went out to about 4 clicks and still no sign of them."
