Her face turned pale. Right... she'd disappeared. Everyone would be worrying about her "Actually, she'd be relieved to know I'm ok. Seems she got free tickets to the same place as we were... Shit, they're probably having panic attacks right now. Can't you just zoom me off to the park?"

"In case you hadn't noticed, my running isn't invisible. Especially to people who are used to seeing it. Toad knows me too well. He'd still see the pink." He pointed to her hair.

She pouted, putting two hands on her head, "Alright... Ummm... Your plan then." she whispered back.

"Out the window?" Pietro asked, "uh. Kay. I can go distract Toad and then catch you" he offered.

"Speedy?" Toad called quietly from the other side of the door. Pietro froze. "You up yo?"

"ok-" Celeste froze before ducking behind his bed out of sight.

Pietro peeked out the door at Toad, "heeyyy buddy"

"Mornin' yo," Toad greeted, "you talkin' to somebody?" He tried to see passed pietro but the speedster blocked his view.

"Nope" pietro replied, "well, just myself. You know, mornings and me. Grumbling to myself"

"Oh, sure yo. Hey you wanna play smash bros?" He asked excitedly. People weren't usually up to play with him this early.

"Uuuhhh.... yeah! I mean, sure. Go get it set up, I just gotta check on something-hey. How about I grab some donuts from that place downtown. They open at six, right?"

"Yeah!" Toad exclaimed happily before turning to hop downstairs and get the Nintendo set up.

Celeste popped her head over the bed, "He...he bought that?" She whispered, getting up and tip toeing over to the window.

Pietro closed the door and sighed, "He gets tunnel vision when it comes to video games, doesn't tend to question it. You ready?"

She looked downward out the window. "No but let's do it anyways." She replied, starting to make her way out of his window.

In a flash Pietro appeared under it, ready to catch her.

She looked down and gripped the window sill tighter. She looked up, "Pleasecatchmepleasecatchme." She mumbled to herself, jumping forward.

Pietro caught her, though it barreled him to the ground in the process, "oof!"

Celeste held tightly when she came into contact with him. "Sorry." She whispered. "Are you ok?"

"Fine" Pietro squeaked in return, "you can... get off now" she wasn't particularly heavy, it just so happened that most of her weight was in an unpleasant area at the moment.

"Oh, sorry." She said realizing where his distress was coming from. "If you zip me a little bit down the street out of sight, I can make my way back home." She said though from the tone of her voice she really wanted him to take her the whole way. She still didn't know how she'd gotten there and whoever she escaped from might be lurking around still. The magic circle she'd appeared in was no longer glowing but it'd left a burnt mark on the side of the road.

"I think that'd be alright, now that we're outside" Pietro whispered, getting up and peeking through the window. His room was above the kitchen, which thankfully was empty. Seeing that the coast was clear, the speedster picked up Celeste and zipped her away-just down the block from the institute. "You okay from here?" he asked.

She smiled, yes she could take it from here. "Perfect." She gave him a kiss on the cheek, "Bye Pietro-san. Thank you for your hospitality." She said softly, turning to run off toward the institute.

Pietro actually found himself grinning slightly as he rubbed the back of his neck, "Ah... yeah... see ya." now off to get those donuts... which he had no money for >_< welp, five finger discount it was then.

Celeste skipped a few steps humming, a wide smile on her face before she realized that she should be hurrying back to the mansion.

She raced up down the street to the front gate.

Horatio and Logan had finally met up with the others and returned to the x-jet, though the time mutant was clearly disturbed and refused to speak. Logan at least filled in Victoria on what happened and they decided it was best to go back to the mansion and maybe see if Charles could locate Celeste.

Victoria, Polly and June did not take the news well. They didn't talk the whole flight back. Victoria looked extremely distressed when Logan mentioned the fellow who used the strange circle. "No that can't..." She mumbled though she did not say what she was thinking past that.

When they landed back at the mansion it was evening.

"Welcome back! Sorry we couldn't responded to your radio messages, Forge has been playing with the communications panel again." Ciara welcomed them. "Huh- What's wrong?" She asked, seeing their grim faces.
"Celeste... she was..." Victoria began, gripping her hand into a fist.
June walked out and put a hand on Victoria's shoulder. "We'll find her. I won't rest till we do."

"Huh? What are you guys going on about- Oh Big Blue!" Ciara called from the other side of the room, waving him over.

Arms could be seen around his neck as he was carrying a sleeping figure over on his back.

"Celeste?" Scott stared in disbelief. How was this possible?

Horatio was still inside the X jet. He hadn't even gotten out of his seat yet.

Celeste opened her eyes and yawned, slipping down off of Big Blue's back.

"Hi..." She yawned.

June slowly turned her head, "Horatio. You're gonna wanna come out here."
Polly was on the stairs of the plane, "CELESTE!"

The girls all tackle hugged her, relieved their sister was safe.
"Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" June demanded, cupping her face.
"I don't think so." She began before more questions were asked.
"How did you escape?"
"What happened?"

Victoria pulled back from the hug and went to retrieve Horatio from the plane.

Horatio had taken his seat belt off though he was still just sitting there. His blank eyes staring ahead.

Victoria knelt down in front of him, "Hey...Celeste is safe. She's outside with everyone else... Are you ok?" She asked, slipping her hands into his.
