They kissed and then he let her go. "So. .. Last night was fun"

Celeste was all fluttered, "Yes it was..." She said. She shook her head when he gave her a look, right Japanese. "Sorry, I switch back to Japanese when I loose focus or get tired... Ahem, yes it was." She said repeating herself.

"Not what I was expecting though" he added. "What brought all this on?"

Celeste blushed, looked down and started digging a hole in the dirt with the toe of her converse. "Well... I've kinda had a crush on you for awhile..." She said poking her fingers together.

Pietro raised a brow. "Seriously? Even after everything I put you through?"

"Wait no, hear me out before you think I'm some crazy gal..." She said quickly before turning away, "June was the one who made me realize I had a crush though I didn't realize it till then... I thought about it and it was before you started picking on me. One the first day I was rather drawn in by the colour of your hair... Perhaps I was jealous you could have an unusual hair colour and I couldn't... Then you started picking on Ciara and I guess I jumped in not only to defend my friend but so you'd start paying attention to me..." She paused and turned, "...You must think I'm pretty loony."

"Yeah... but I thought you were loony way before this" pietro smirked.

Celeste was rather hurt by that comment and pouted, pushing him lightly, "That's mean."

"I don't waste my time with normal" pietro commented. "So if you want to be average you'd better walk away now. But if you're up for being a bit loony, then stick around" he wrapped his arm around her and brought her close again.

">///<" She smiled a little, "As long as you don't go around telling people I'm a wee bit loony then I wouldn't mind hanging around." She said, tucking some hair behind her ear.

Pietro hesitated, "about that... telling people I mean... uh... You know we can't right?"

"What oh. nonononono." She said waving her hands back and forth. "I totally understand that. I just meant... you know...So... when did you start liking me?" She asked, changing the subject.

"Not sure I can answer that" pietro looked to the side, "things are kinda complicated with me."

"Alright," She slid her hands around his neck, "Better question... You said I thought I was loony way before then... Had we met before High school?" She asked.

He turned his eyes back to look at hers, "... sort of" he replied, "I've seen you more than you've seen me..."

"Guess that'd make sense..." she poked his cheek playfully, "Stalker." She said sticking out her tongue.

"What?" he blinked, "no! It's not like that! It's..." he sighed, "it's... Magneto's been keeping tabs on you... You, the other two, your sisters or whatever and Ciara. You were all there when he left or something, I guess he wanted to make sure you were alright." his blue eyes turned away again as that weight of anger began churning in his stomach. How was it possible to feel two such conflicting emotions towards one person?

She reached up and kissed his forehead, "I'm sorry. I was teasing. I didn't mean to..." She looked down, " I lose my parents before I came here and Eric, Charles and Hank helped fill that void in my heart... I'm sorry your father can't see how such a wonderful, amazing, talented person you are. You're fast, clever, creative... Even though our families are enemies, you've helped me many times..." She complimented him, "So let me give you back what I took." She wrapped her arms around him and held him tightly.

Hugging her back, Pietro nuzzled his face into her neck and held on tight for a few minutes. It was nice, to have someone to hold onto but at the same time he was angry at himself. How could he be falling for someone who had taken up all the good times of his father and left him with nothing?
He pulled away and shook his head, "no, I just... I can't do this right now." he took a step back.

Celeste looked down and nodded, "You have stuff to work out..." She played with a piece of her hair, "I understand this is probably really weird so when you've figured everything out... let me know ok? Don't leave me hanging..." She said softly and turned to leave, rather sad.

He stood there, watching her for a moment, wishing he could find the words to tell her everything he was feeling. He opened and closed his mouth a few times in attempt but nothing ever came out, so he turned away as well and sped off back to the brotherhood.
Back at the house he headed straight to his room, in a bit of a mood.

Celeste paused and turned, "Do you want to talk-" But he was already gone. Celeste's heart felt rather heavy as she continued to walk home.

Pietro stood in his room for a moment, looking around at the neat and tidy organization of it all. Then he began to rip it apart in anger, "Stupid... Stupid stupid STUPID!" he snapped at himself, throwing the pillow and blankets off the bed, knocking over the table that sent his drawing flying across the room. He'd done a few sketches of Celeste and now he stomped on them in anger and ripped one or two of them up in pieces.

As he ripped his room apart, a pink choker fell to the floor. It had been the one Celeste had been wearing last night.

He stopped and then slowly stooped to pick it up. With a sigh he fell back on his bed, what was he doing? Why was he so angry? All this back and forth was gonna give him whiplash, his head was already spinning from it.

The door to his room creaked open just a smidgen, the commotion was easy to hear through the house and Toad had been elected to take a peek on what was happening. "Speedy?" Spoke the boy tentively, "everything okay?"

Pietro hid the choker and threw a pillow at the door, "Go away!"
