The next weekend rolled around. Celeste sat in her usual stop in the park, this time she'd packed a large meal filled with tempura, sushi and all other kinds of goodies.

"What is it with you and food?" Pietro asked as he was suddenly sitting across from her.

'To win a man is through his stomach' She thought but replied, "It's fun. What, don't tell me you don't like food?" She teased, a warm smile on her face.

"Oh, I would out eat your whole institute" Pietro replied simply, "I was just curious. Hey, check it" he pulled out the stitching he'd been working on. He had finished the pikachu and even added some cool electricity lines coming off it.

Celeste took it from him, "This is really good!" She said looking over his work, "Just make sure not to go too fast," She said pointing out a spot on the back which was a little darker than the rest. Perhaps Pietro had tried to go faster and ended up almost setting the thing on fire. "Fraction is not your friend."

She pulled the basket over and pulled out a piece of paper, "I worked all week on the design... what do you think?" She asked nervously. The pattern had shading and Jolteon wasn't in his pose from the game.

"Sweet" Pietro took it from her, checking it out, "You got the colours for it?" he asked, he had some of Pikachu's yellow still but it looked like Jolteon would need a few different shades.

"Yup." She pulled out a plastic bag of all the colours he'd need to make it. She also pulled out another one for herself. She'd started another pattern.

It became a weekly thing. Pietro would meet her there and they'd cross stitch and talk and eat.

One weekend it was too cold to do it outside but Celeste stood there waiting for him. "Come with me." She said with a smile, taking a hold of his hand.

Pietro took her hand, "where we going?"

"Shhhh... Surprise." she whispered. She lead him toward the Institute but made a turn into the forest along the edge of the property, they followed the fence till they came to a hole and slipped through it. A few mins later, they were standing underneath a huge tree with a tree house.

She lead him up and held the door open for him. It was a small space, about 7 feet by 8 feet. A mattress was on the far side under a window window, covered in blankets and pillow. The walls had been covered in battery powered candles that had been ducktaped to the walls though the window provided a lot of light. A orange power cord going allllll the way back to the manison poked in through one of the walls and hooked to it was a small heater. Another basket of yummy food sat on the floor.

"When it gets too cold, I come here. No one comes out here and it's right near the protery line..." She said looking downward blushing. She'd tried really had to make this romantic :p

Pietro started getting a little antsy when they got close to the institute, "I dunno... doesn't that Xavier guy have like... crazy mind powers? What if he finds out?"

Celeste kinda smirked and pointed to the ceiling, it was covered in tinfoil. "Plus, he's been seeing me off when I leave for the park with a smile so I guess he's cool with it?"

Pietro still didn't seem terribly comfortable with it, "I dunno..."

Celeste looked at him with big puppy dog eyes, "But... we're right beside the fence so if anything goes down you can make a break for it... Please?" She asked slipping her hands into his.

He sighed and gave a smile, "Weeelllll, I suppose I am pretty fast and awesome and handsome... I could stick around, for you"

"Oh you're too kind oh great and super awesome one." She said giving a bow and flopping down on the mattress.

Pietro chuckled and dropped down next to her.

After a couple of hours of munching on food and being silly. Celeste cuddled up to Pietro, showing him how to Crochet. It seemed Celeste enjoyed her free time doing stuff that involved thread or yarn all of which ended up being ridiculously cute in the end.

"Then you loop it and continue on..." She explained. She was making presents for Christmas.

Between the two of them, they were starting to get a decent collection of cute little creatures. At first Pietro just wanted to put the cool pokemon on his backpack, but then he got thinking, "... y'know... if we combined a bunch of these together, we could make like a blanket out of them. One giant fight scene of all these guys or something, that'd be sweet."

"...You know I had started this making this one pattern..." She pulled it out. It was all the pokemon from Pokemon Blue and Red. "What do you think?"

"Woah" he blinked at it, "That must've taken you forever... Welp, gotta stitch 'em all!" he laughed

">< You have no idea.... I spent hours looking through the Pokedex on my gameboy..." She pulled out a wooden square frame, "What do you say? Wanna work together?"

"Sure" he grinned and moved a little closer.

They worked on it non stop for three hours by which point Pietro had taken over as Celeste had dozed off cuddled up to him.
