"Oh... That's cool" She said picking up her coffee and taking some sips out of it.

Great... about woman. Celeste was sure this was probably an older gal Pietro was talking about but she felt rather jealous... They'd been spending time together for probably months and Pietro seemed to be... holding back. They talked, cuddled but anything involving holding hands, or kissys she had to take the first step.

And they didn't even have a title to their relationship and no one could know about it but here Pietro was talking about this amazing lady... She wish he'd talk about her like that... to others.

"Um... something wrong?" Pietro asked a bit uncertainly.

"Hm?" She looked up, having spaced out for a moment there. "Oh, sorry. I'm just getting tired. I don't do well with the cold."

And there's a school dance coming up...

"Oh... sorry. Maybe this was a bad idea" he commented uncertainly.

She shook her head, "No, it was a wonderful idea." She put her hand over his. "Thank you."

He yave a bit of a smile but it wasn't completely genuine. He could tell something was off but he didn't know how to address it.

"Pietro, is that you?" Questioned an woman at least forty years old as she walked over. "I haven't seen you in ages darling, come here" she was skinny and had a smile so sweet it could give you cavities.

A grin crossed pietro's face as he met her halfway and they exchanged a hug. "Melna" greeted the speedster. "Sorry it's been so long. Hey, this is celeste-"

"Oohhh did you finally catch yourself a girlfriend you little wipper snapper?" She chuckled and went to greet celeste. "Don't let his bad attitude fool you for a second. He's got a heart of gold-and big hands to if you catch my meaning" she winked

"Melna!" Pietro exclaimed in embarrassment.

It made her feel a little bit better that she seemed more like a mother figure. Celeste turned bright red, "Nice to meet you, Pietro had just been talking about you."

"All lies" she declared. "I'm really the devil. "

"If the devil has wings and a halo, then yeah,you are" pietro chuckled.

"Oh my... Well, to ummm clarify Pietro and I aren't... I'm not his..." She tried to say it but she wanted it to be true, "Complicated." She said but it was clear in her expression she wanted more.

Melna raised a brow and looked from her to pietro and then promptly smacked him upside the head, "what's wrong with you boy? A beautiful girl shows interest and you leave her hanging? Learn some manners. " she smacked him again.

"Ah!" Pietro raised his arms in defense, "staaahhhhp. If you left it alone I'd have gotten to it" he whined

"Yeah, when? Next year?"

"After dinner" pietro replied, "jeeze woman. Why do you think I brought her here?"

"Well then!" Melna grinned at the news, "I think I hear the kitchen calling. Gotta run" she took off in a hurry to let them get to it. Pietro stood there a little awkwardly.

Celeste's eyes widened when Pietro got slapped across the head though she did appreciate someone else sharing her views on the matter.

"...I like her."

"Um... yeah" Pietro rubbed the back of his head, "Sorry about that... um..." he sat back down.

Celeste seemed to have perked up a little bit, sitting back down and making little circles with her index finger, "So...Was there... something you wanted to ask me?"

"Um... well... yeah" Pietro felt like smacking himself in the face, "err... you wanna be my girlfriend?"

Celeste almost jumped over the table, "YES YES YES! I mean... ahem... yes, I will be your girlfriend."

Pietro grinned and to contain his excitement he leaned back casually and ran a hand through his hair, "Of course you do, I mean look at me."

A bread roll came flying through the air and smacked him in the head before Melna vanished back into the kitchen.

Celeste walked around the table and sat down beside him, flipping her hair to the side, "Do you mean look at me?" She asked tilting her head sweetly to the side.

Attempting not to drool, Pietro swallowed it back and leaned forward until their faces were inches from one another, "I could look at you all day"

Celeste turned bright red in the face. It hadn't bee the reaction she had though would happened but it was a pleasant one. "Well, I'm glad you're finally voicing your opinions of me out loud. I was starting to think these feelings were only one sides."

He smiled, "speaking of voicing my opinions... I'm still starving and we should finish eating"

She smirked, "Alright..." She said reaching for her plate and pulling it over to her, "But I'm gonna sit here beside my Bōifurendo (Boyfriend)" She said giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"I can live with that" Pietro nodded in approval.

Celeste mood did a back flip as she was smiling and giggling during the rest of the meal. It seemed not being his girlfriend had been the source of her previous sorrow.

"...So...did you hear the school counsel decided on a theme for the upcoming dance, titled 'Masks'. Vesta was telling me about it over breakfast the other day" She said casually slipping the subject of the dance into their conversation as gracefully as she could.

She wondered if she could start coming over to his place now that they were official? It would be nice to hang out somewhere other than the Tree house.

"Doesn't that just make it a masquerade?" Pietro raised a brow questioning.

"Basically."
