"Da....Daddy...I want... Daddy..." She mumbled before passing out.

"I'm here sweetie" Beast nuzzled her.

Xavier took a breath as he backed up a little, though he looked about ready to fall out of his chair.

Victoria knocked and entered, "How is she?" She asked.

"She will be alright" Xavier replied, "she... just needs..." he faltered as his eyes rolled back in his head and he slumped to the side.

Victoria moved forward to make sure he didn't fall out of his chair. She sighed.

Hank looked over with concern but he could see Xavier was just exhausted, "she's become so powerful" frowned the blue man as he looked at Ciara, stroking her hair, "how can someone so young and gentle, hold so much strength and pain?"

"With great power comes terrible people who will stop at nothing to get it..." Victoria said, quoting something she'd read. She put a hand on his paw, "She will have to face this trama sooner or later, and only a loving and caring father like yourself can help her make it through the fog." She smiled lightly.

Beast sighed and nodded. "Could you please take Charles to his room?" He asked as he picked up ciara to take her to bed.

"Not a problem-" She began as she watched Ciara insistently, curl her hands into his fur. "That is adorable...Have fun trying to get her to let go." Victoria said, walking behind Charles' chair to roll him to his room.

Hank had no intention of letting her go. He climbed into bed with ciara and snuggled her to sleep.

Victoria put Charles to bed and headed upstairs to Horatio's room.

"Horatio. You got a min?"

There was a bit of mumbling beyond the door before he replied, "Vesta? I'm a little busy." Horatio called. He was flitting about the room, appearing in one place and then another as he looked and felt over all of his information. "but then if this is happening then that would be.... no, no, no, that wouldn't even-which means that the revolt is..."

"It's about Ciara." She said calmly. "You heard?"

The door opened for a split second as Horatio pulled her in and closed it again before appearing on the other side of the room, "That sort of time altering event is hard to miss" he replied, "It shouldn't be happening this soon-everything is happening too quickly!"

Vesta nodded, "Seems he wasn't kidding when he said time would be fighting back or in this case altering. It means you can't relay on information your future selves give you...It's most troublesome.

"I do not know if there is a future me at this point. I have not spoken to an older self in this time line and the last time that happened, I was..." he paused, trying to remember exactly what happened but it was a little fuzzy, "... shot? I am pretty certain I died. There was a memorial."

"Then whatever you do now is the new timeline. You are the future you..." She said, "I'll leave you to it. I want to go check on the magic wards around the mansion."

Horatio gave something of a nod as he followed along the strings he had so carefully mapped out, trying to reorganize things. Her words did not seem to comfort him.

As they weren't meant to. Time was changing, ripples were sending future events into different directions. This was no time for comfort. They had to prepare for the worst, be ready for anything.

Victoria went around and re enforced the seals that helped further cloak their presence.

There was someone hovering around the front gate of the mansion. That new kid from school was peering through the bars at the mansion.

Victoria stopped about 20-30 feet away from the gate on the paved driveway. "Can I help you?" She called, not approaching, noting where the nearest red button to alter the mansion of intruders was.

When he saw her he smiled and waved a little, "Pardon?" he called, as though unable to quite hear what she was saying.

Victoria's expression did not change as she approached a nearby bush and pulled out a long steel rod. She closed the gap so that she was about 20 feet away. "What do you want?" She said in a commanding voice. There would be no way the stranger could misunderstand him as her voice seemed to echo.

He raised his arm up to lean against the side of the gate, "Hey now, chill. The girl with the red hair ran into me on her way out of school today. I was told she lives here. She didn't look so good, I was wondering if she was okay?"

"I see." Victoria lowered the pole but did not let it go. "Her name is Ciara and she's doing better now, thank you. Who may I say stopped by?" She said continuing to keep her distance.
