After the session most of them collapsed in the living room around the tv but Ciara spent her cool down time in the indoor pool, just drifting back and forth. She could spend hours in the water. And now she knew why she liked it so much.

Horatio was actually just on his way to the danger room himself to work on something when he paused by the living room as he heard the news station while Bobby was flipping through channels.
"Stop" Ordered the Time Reaper as he appeared next to the iceman, "Return to that channel."

"No way, I wanna watch Recess. Why don't you go listen to the radio or something?" Bobby was in a grumpy mood, having been set accidentally on fire during the session.

Victoria, had just walked in with her tea, grabbed the remote and changed the channel. "You can in a min, Bobby."

"-Reason for the attack is not yet known but so far there have been fifty-three found dead" the reported stated, "This incident seems to have coincided with a suicide bombing that destroyed the UN headquarters in Baghdad, killing 24, including top envoy Sergio Vieira de Mello."

Horatio stood there in silence as he listened, his face a blank mask until suddenly he disappeared while at the same time a book slammed into the floor off the table where it had been sitting.

Several of them jumped.

"What just happened?"

Victoria put a hand up, "It's ok. He just stopped time..." She handed the remote back to Bobby. "There. Recess your heart away." She said hurrying up to his room. Something was clearly wrong. "Hope?" She knocked, "What's wrong?"

Bobby slowly changed the channel, looking afraid that it might explode on him or something.

Horatio was tearing down everything in his room. All the careful weeks of work to set up a timeline was being angrily destroyed as he ripped the string off the walls, tore down the pictures and threw it in a heap on the floor.

"Hey. HEY!" Victoria quickly set down her tea cup and wrapped her arms around him. "Hey... Calm down... Shhh... We'll get through this..." She said already having a good idea why he was freaking out.

He couldn't seem to calm his breathing down as he started to hyperventilate a bit. He opened his mouth to speak but no words seemed able to form, his body only shook as his hands fumbled to hold into her. Everything was falling apart, all he had done to shape the world was coming crashing down around him and so much faster than he had expected. This attack wasn't supposed to be for another five years and yet here it was, now. Creating a whole new web of possibilities that also couldn't be monitored, each of which would create their own endless web as everything spun out of control. Horatio's head was spinning, throwing him off balance and making him feel violently sick.

Victoria continued to comfort him, bringing him to the floor, "Breathe. Just breathe... "

"Is everything ok in here?" Polly asked having heard the racket as she came up the stairs, she'd just come home, having skipped training to go skateboarding, not feeling like being around the others.

"Pal...Polly. Can you bring me some water and rescue remedy... NOW."

"R-Right." She dropped her bag and hurried back down the stairs.

Horatio didn't understand what was happening. He felt like he couldn't breathe, he was terrified. Apparently he had never had a panic attack before.

"Horatio, look toward me. You need to slow down your breathing. Follow my breathing. In through the nose... out through the mouth." Victoria placed Horatio's hand on her chest so he could try and follow her calmer breathing.

Polly soon returned with the water and rescue remedy.

"Is he ok?" She asked.
"Please go get Hank. I think he's having a panic attack."
"ok."

He tried to do as she said but it was more difficult than he expected, "a-a what?" he questioned in confusion. Though with Victoria's help he was starting to calm down a little.

"Just focus on that breathing... You're doing great Horatio." She reassured. She took her scarf and dipped it into the water and patted his forehead and neck.

Eventually they got him to calm down, between the rescue remedy and something Beast gave him that made him more tired than anything else. Horatio found himself drifting off to sleep in Victoria's arms, just completely exhausted.

They tucked him in bed.

Hank watched over him while Victoria took all the papers, boards and strings out back and burnt them. Making sure no trace was left of Horatio's timeline map. Not that anyone could read it but it was better safe than sorry... When she got back, she relieved Hank of his watching duties.

She sat against the back board and sighed, brushing Horatio's hair gently. "Sleep, dear brother... sleep." She whispered softly.

Horatio slept until about noon the next day, finally stirring and sitting up in bed a bit groggily as he rubbed his sightless eyes, "... Vesta?" he questioned, uncertain if she was still there.

The sound of a book closing. "I'm right here..." She was sitting on the side of the bed, her back against the headboard. "How are you feeling?"

"I am... alright" he replied, he was more embarrassed for his behavior than anything else and he turned his face away from her. "My apologies, I'm not sure what came over me..."

Vesta put a hand on his shoulder, "You have nothing to be sorry for or ashamed of. You had a panic attack."

He sighed and closed his eyes, "I just do not understand... how things could suddenly be changing so drastically. So quickly... We could all die tomorrow for all I know and I... I do not know how to deal with that"

"We take it one day at a time." She said patting his head. "Doctor McCoy would like to talk to you and give you a check up when you're up to it." She said gently.

"I would really rather not..." Horatio replied. He didn't typically go to doctors, let alone people in general, for help.

"I would really rather you would go." She took a hold of his hand. "Horatio, this isn't the first time you've had a panic attack... Not in this live anyways. Dr. McCoy- I just want to make sure you're going to be ok.... Plus you should probably make a good impression on him, seeing as you'd like to one day wed his daughter." She rubbed her thumb against the back of his hand, "If you want, I can come with you."

He thought about it for a moment and then sighed, "I rather dislike it when you have a point" he replied, "very well. But I have an old friend to get in touch with, so the sooner we can get this done the better. "

Vesta smiled and hopped out of bed, "Fair enough." She went to the door and opened it.
