ooo roisin murhpy! i have that album my favorite of hers is definitely ruby blue
i first heard of her from so you think you can dance. they danced to a few of her songs over the seasons
I've always loved Eartha Kitt. :3 Stems from my Batman/DC universe fangirlness. I think I might have heard some of her music before I ever watched the show, though.
A band one of my college buddies introduced me to. Most songs off Dance Macbre are halloweeny, but this song in particular makes my stomach twist, probably because I listened to it on repeat when I was at a low point in life.
I like the gentle vocals and the metal sounds of this Nightwish song, even though I'm not much of a nightwish fan.
Long, I hate songs like that which remind you of bad times and low points. At the same time too though, they can be a good bit of unexpected perspective reflection time. Looking back at where you were, and where you are now, the things that have changed for the better and worse, and the things that you want to change etc.
@Long ~ The only album I have by The Faint is the one they did after, Wet from Birth. So they just make think of birth, and semen and erections and other bodily things.
@Dropo ~ I have a cousin who really likes Nightwish. I kept thinking of Buffy the Vampire Slayer watching that. It was like Buffy and Giles running hither and yon and explosions! Kaboom!
@Dropo ~ That was weird. But I don't even know what One Direction really sounds likes, so i'm just gonna go ahead and assume it's like that. No one will convince me otherwise. :B
Creepily, as I read your post, Belleh, my parents are in the other room watching a show to do with, "What sort of culture exchange would we have if aliens visited Earth?"
