I usually put the antibiotics in little sausage and they eats it whole :o

Yeppers. Doggies are brilliant at just swallowing things whole. Much easier to pill!

Kitties are tricksy.

he doesn't like anything put in his mouth. liquid meds are the worst. but pills seem to be a close second. this medicine is bitter so i can't even crush it and hope he eats it all in wet food. he's very furry and it's so hard to see when he spits it out. he looke like a pez dispenser tonight! =3

my finger he at least licks, i put butter on the pill to make it easier to swallow =3

Awww, you're so sweet! I've gotten really fast with Chinc. But I got a lot of training at the vet's office.

he's still not sleeping with me, but he does lay with me after he gets his meds and eats.
he cleans and i brush him, so i think he is feeling better.
he's not lethargic and peeing on himself anymore, thank God.
he is just being such a sneak and spitting out his antibotics.
these meds cost sixty four dollars, too!
but mostly i just want him to feel better, damn the cost.

I had a kitty Diana who got sick mysteriously and quit eating, then starting peeing herself too. Our vet was closed for the weekend, and she passed Sunday night. It was awful, and I didn't want to see Nikk go through all that.
I am glad that she is feeling better :) Kittehs are not too fond of meds

i'm sitting here crying for you and Nikki. i know how much you love her if you thought of her first and not yourself. she would have gone on suffering to be with you and stupid dog fighting commercial! people who love animals are the sweetest and most loving people i know. *hugs* you have an amazing heart, roxxxy. losing a friend like that is heart breaking. and twenty years is such a long time together, more than most marriages! crap i can't see clearly enough to keep typing. *sobs* i hope you are remembering the good times <3
