As for notifications, yeah, they happen, but I've noticed you actually have to check your trades porposely, as there's no light that goes off if you get one. I suppose this is mostly because people doing trades are already aware of it most of the time, or are soon made aware...

I'm not sure if there are any wolf items in particular, though we do have this one event item that has patches of werewolf fur and werewolf ears...

There are items that gives you fur/pointy ears/tail/etc that are similar to a wolf's though, so maybe you could go for those?

Actually we used to get trade notifications, but one day it just borked for no apparent reason at all and it's been down since then.

I think some people still get trade notifications but the majority of the users no longer receive them.

Meh, doesn't bother me, really, I check it now and then just to make sure nobody's trying to trade with me, and it's no biggie.

It's another excuse to do something, and that's fine by me.

@Vera: Yeah, I'm not too bothered by it either, I just check it every once in a while.

@Shadorilia: The Siriusly? Contribution Item has ears, skin, and tail, though they're not fuzzy.
The Fox Spirit and Kitsune and Caboodle has ears and tail, though it's a fox's and not a wolf...
Ixion's Children is a centaur/horse CI (which I have equipped on right now), but the tail could work for a wolf I suppose.
For fur I like to use the shoulder wrap from Gundrik the Dwarf since it's the fuzziest-looking, though the one from Tengu works too for a more ruffier look.
There might be other item combinations that can make a cool wolf outfit that I missed.

I guess I've become a little more into hangouts once I quit Gaia, haha!~ Oh, the CB days. I have hangouts all over other forum sites, but I never ventured out of them, since I'm pretty awkward with popping into other threads. I might make one here.

Haha the Chatterbox is always insane. xD

lol I remember the Charity/Quest forums are slower? That's where I hung out most of the time when I'm not randomly bumping threads in the Chatterbox. I've forgotten a lot of things of what Gaia was like back then. Now I can barely recognize the place anymore.

The only forums I used to frequent back then was the CB, haha! I never went anywhere else, since the CB had everything, including the charities. Gaia used to look so different back when it started.

lmao True. I started going to the Chatterbox when I noticed how there were random giveaways there. Got a few of my quest items there for free (aside from doing insane amounts of bumps for them) so I went there every day just to check and see if any of those spontaneous giveaways were happening. I also liked just doing random bumps for the heck of it. There were so many of those bump threads that existed for no reason except for 'Bump' posts.

I joined in '05 I think? I checked back there a few months ago and the layout was completely different. And so many weird buttons and badges and things under and above the avatars now! Everything looks so complicated.

Man, I missed out on the Gaian "bump phase." I joined when the inflation from the RIGs just started, so the forum was mainly consisted of people complaining about their quest items, LOL. That, and the giveaways. The CB got kind of boring and repetitive after awhile of seeing the same things being said over and over again. I remember joining when I was really young, so I don't remember what I saw on my first account, but I do know Gaia has changed a lot haha. I only go there now, since I like my avatar.

Oh gods, the inflation. By the time I left almost everything's in the millions.

I gave away everything on my second main account to a friend and haven't been back since. (asides from occasionally checking the site's layout or a few posts without logging in)
