So I just found out that Sony sold their Vaio laptops part of their company to a business in Japan and is no longer going to be making and selling Vaio computers. This really saddens me as it's the only computer brand that I like. I have had major trouble with HP and Dell (both family computers that were just terrible when I was in high school) and Gateway (my first laptop for college that literally died a couple days after the one year warranty was up) in the past.

And then I decided to just bite the bullet and purchase a more expensive laptop...got myself a Sony Vaio netbook that lasted about 5 years before I felt it was time to upgrade (and it still worked, I just needed a bigger computer for teaching and for grad school) so I bought a Sony Vaio laptop again...and it's been working perfectly for me ever since!

But now, I just found out they won't be making them anymore. And even thought the japanese company that bought the rights to them will manufacture them, they say they will probably only sell them in Japan.

Sony Vaios are the only computers that have never given me trouble. You pay a bit more for them, but to me, it's worth it! Anyone else like Sony Vaios?

I liked my Vaio it was a 17" screen. However the smaller Vaio I had suffered a system crash.
