Well, as long as they were discreet, I suppose it's okay.
I didn't have to see anyone doing it, so there.
Besides, anyone sitting with me had their hands in plain sight, so at least I don't have to feel creeped out about them...
And I've looked up a skirt or two when opportunity was there, nothing wrong with it... <_<; If you're totally against it, that's when you wear trousers, I presume. Or keep your legs crossed.

Might even say it's an impulse thing...

I'm sorry but I don't wear skirts... or kilts for that matter...
jelly doesn't count. I like jelly so she can stare all she wants.
(Also makes it harder for her to torture me)

I would say the rationale that someone wearing a skirt must be okay with having it looked up is wholly incorrect and downright fucking creepy. I wear dresses because they're cute - it is not an invitation to peek my panties. If at any point it is possible to see my panties while I'm wearing a dress, that is not my intent and anyone who intentionally looked would be violating my privacy and common decency/politeness. I'm not putting a neon sign pointing at my naughty bits, my skirt just accidentally rode up a little when I sat down, or a strong breeze caught me off guard or whatever.

It was actually a pretty nice pale ale. I keep the bottle on my dresser and store my bangles on it :D

Omg, I want one of those! But I don't like beer. There really ought to be more shaped bottles for various drinks. Can you imagine a hard cider in a bottle shaped like an apple? The dream.

I like how this conversation has evolved so far from the original topic of the title.
It's funny what territory it has entered.

Oh, right, I forgot there was something on topic I wanted to add!
I'm bad with impulse buying from vending machines when at college. I get at this point where I'm not really hungry, I just want to eat something. Then the tiny bags of criminally overpriced junk food start to look really appealing. I've tried to combat this by packing doughtnuts, candy, mini bags of microwave popcorn, or some other little snack in my backpack. It works, but... if I forgot to pack a snack that day... well, there goes two dollars for a shitty little cookie.

Is it sad that I tend to impulse buy clothing stuffs? Especially nerdy stuff?
I just bought a SHIELD shirt because I want to wear it to the Guardians of the Galaxy midnight premiere this Thursday. Also I really like Agents of SHIELD plus the whole organization in the films. Yeah, i'm bad with nerdy clothing. I like it. Too much. I'd buy it all if I could.

I used to impulse buy. Especially when I first found EBay. Oddly, I kept very few of the knickknacks I bought in that first mad splurge.
Nowadays I barely spend on myself at all.
I have my own place, so part of it is needing to be an adult about the important things- making sure rent is up in the first week or so, keeping the bills up to date, etc. After that my major priority is filling the house with pleasant things to eat. I like to be able to eat whatever I feel like having at any given moment, and my tastes are kinda eclectic. As you probably know, good, highend foods are a bit pricey, so that's like, my biggest splurge. I like to eat well.
The times it IS a bit tight to the wire I end up getting depressed because I have to eat scrounged meals instead of exactly what craving I have.
My other splurge is bitcoin. Or, well, to be precise altcurrencies. I don't actually configure the miners myself- I have a friend for whom geeking out to algorithms is his jam, so he's my financial advisor. But I paid for a chunk of the equip myself, and I occasionally put cash money into the market so we can chase speculations. I don't know that it's any safer or more likely to profit than gambling, but it feels nice to know there's a possible longterm that I won't get taxed to hell and back if it goes up for awhile.
