I'm sure momma was the one who bought my diapers many times.
/once when she was cleaning, she found a stash of stuff in case something happened on Y2K
/which included diapers for moi

You should thank your parents for the hell they had to go through to potty train you, Kirin.

No I have to thank my mom for the hell she went through giving birth to me. She was in labor with me for almost twenty four hours. Potty training was a breeze compared to that.

OMG that sounds absolutely awful. Don't they usually induce after 24 hours?

I was an induction my contractions started on the Sunday late afternoon they where going to send me home on the Monday because I wouldn't dilate past 4cms he was born at 430pm on the Tuesday by emergency csection. Almost lost him actually. He was trapped and his chord was round his neck twice. Pretty sure if I'd of let them send me home he wouldn't be here. horrid experience.

Oh my goodness! He is a lucky boy and you are lucky momma. Good think you didn't go home! I was induced with my first boy too, but was only in labor for 12 hours. Second boy was a lot easier, in fact he almost fell on the floor he was in such a hurry.

I mean I wasn't in full blown labour but picotin brings in contractions like crazy it was horrid. 'Slow labour' they called it.
All my 3 where csections. My first was stuck so they had to make 2 incisions yuk yuk so my womb was cut in 2 separate directions. It wouldn't carry full term :( . sad kinda I'd love to experience labour properly.

I'm hoping that if/when I decide to have babies that my pregnancy will be like my mom's. She had like no problems, no morning sickness and no difficulties with the birth apart from the long labor.

It's hard to know though because it's such a different experience for each woman... I like to think that's what it will be like though. ^_^

Yeah, that's what a friend of mine always said. That we forget the pain because otherwise women would never have more than one child. >.>
