Dude I wish it was sweater weather here! Even after a cold front pushing through we're just about 80 degrees. But I have to say it is a lot better than the 95+humidity that we had last week.

South Texas. about two hours from Mexico and near the Gulf. It's always Hot and Humid and Gross. But hey things don't go eternally grey for several months. So there's that.

eh... not much? I listen to music, write, art, and internet. Also netflix? I'm really really boring. I like researching things, and identifying bugs, and when I get the chance tabletop games like DnD.
I would spend more time outside if it wasn't miserably hot here like 90% of the year. and during the other 10% it's damp and chilly with a huge dose of wind.

Longcat; I don't go outside much either, I sit inside and watch Netflix, color and draw and browse the inter-webs, I was just asking to make conversation, so we can keep the chat going, sorry.

Oh no. it's fine. I just can't think of hobbies when people ask me on the spot. But talk to me enough and you can easily tell what I like based on how passionate I get about it.
Take bugs and insects for example. I think they are incredibly interesting! And beautiful and worth taking a look at and learning. However when people start talking about the outright destruction of all things arthropods I get angry on their behalf. I really enjoy learning more about them and I have facebook friends who will send me pictures of beetles, moths, spiders etc that they find around their place because they want to know about it before they kill it because it might just be helpful instead. And I love teaching people those sorts of things too! So I just really like it when I get random messages of "Hey Long! What the hell is this gross thing?" followed by a picture of some weird mass of beetles.

Longcat: Oh I see haha. Understandable.. I like insects too, although spiders scare the fuck outta me... and the apartment I live in has a roach problem, but it's not completely bad now.. they freak me out too Dx Might need to bug bomb the inside of our apartment here soon tbh.
=[

Ugh. There are very few insects/arthropods that I can't stand. House roaches are up there. (German, American, Brown banded) The wood roaches that live in dead stumps are cool though. House centipedes with their tall skitter legs creep me out even though I know how helpful they are. And suddenly spiders. I am fine with spiders that I know are there but when there is suddenly a spider next to me or on me I nope right the fuck out. But I'll let spiders crawl on me if I know they're there, its the sudden appearance that bothers me.

Longcat; Yeah I have no problem with spiders if I know they are there like daddy long legs are fine with me, completely harmless... But I'm talking giant wolf spiders.. sometimes they find their way inside and I'm all like nope nope nope. Lmfao. Also wood spiders are a big nope for me too.. them things are scary.

Fun fact!!

Daddy-longlegs (the harvestmen variety) aren't actually spiders! Harvestment, those neat leggy bobbles that really like woodpiles and the corners of sheds. They belong in a order of arachnids called Opiliones! They're not the worlds most venomous spider with fangs too tiny to pierce human skin. They don't have venom and instead of fangs they have little graspy arm things! I really like these guys!

Longcat: Oh that's cool, I always found them fascinating, but I never knew they weren't spiders. ahaha -sweat-

Sorry Cora. But hey you know to expect the weird and wacky when you stopped into the House of Internet. Also you know me and bugs. I was about to say that we're wearing the same stockings, but that's not me wearing them. XD

Yeah! they're a really cool group of critters. Completely harmless and super helpful to the ecosystems. See this is what I like to do. I like chatting and teaching and telling stories and spreading info, :3

I just have the one monster. She's got feline herpes so we don't want to get another cat to risk exposing either to anything. Besides she's afraid of /everything/. Last night she crawled under the bed for sleep and I turned off the light... She spooked so hard because of that...

We found her in a TacoBell drive thru when she was about 6 or 7 weeks old. She's just really skittish, but she's also a complete cuddle bug and a really good cat. She lets us give her baths, trim her nails (she really likes them filed with an emry board), she likes wearing her collars, travels really well, lets us wipe her eyes and nose. Just an overall good cat. This is her sleeping in my lap.

Longcat: Awww That's adorable, I rescued the kitten I have from neighbors that were getting evicted, They were just going to throw her outside but I didn't want that, when she came in she was infested with fleas and ear mites, They cleared up and she is slowly warming up to cuddling but she will do it, she lets me give her baths too and trim her nails and stuff, I think shes starting her heat cycle soon tbh.

We got Mallow fixed as soon as she was old enough. So she's never experienced a heat.
You're cat is a cutie, like a creamsicle!

Longcat: I've only had this kitten half a month tbh. Lol so it was close to the heat cycle while living with them, we are gonna get it fixed after this heat cycle though since they charge extra if they're in heat. The people named her charmander Lol... so thats what I call her.
