I kinda dig this sound, but if 87% of the videos are hippies playing at Burning Man I think I might have to ignore this and listen to video game soundtracks instead.
Oh, there are so many! I guess I'll post the one everyone who has played past the tutorial knows.
Nobody should ever ask me to pick my favorite song from this game. It's too hard and I'll pick, like, ten. And then I'll go on a ramble being all nostalgic.
Katamari is my jam. That game is my go to zen game. Mindless gameplay, happy colors, upbeat music. And you can roll up people and eventually the world. Can't be angry when you can absorb it all.

Oh god, Handpans are one of my favorite instruments ever. I have never cared about steel drums, but there is something about handpans that makes my bones melt with happiness (when they are played well.)
This is my favorite video:
I listen to lots of game soundtracks also. Currently my mix includes Legend of Zelda, Machinarium, Sword & Sworcery, and Bastion.
We just called it Prontera back in my early RO days. My early RO days were RO's early RO days. It was the lag capital of the world, even just outside the southern portal. Merchants everywhere. Dancing for zeny. Annoying people who think summoning dead branches in a crowd is cool. Other annoying people who think casting warp portals on people who don't request it is cool. Me blissfully imagining snapping their little necks.
I've always wanted to play Ragnarok, but it's Windows only.
Once upon a long time ago, I stumbled across beautiful illustrations of all the character classes, which is how I found out about that game and why I wanted to play it. Since I couldn't, I downloaded them all and used to stare at them and imagine which class I would pick, what kind of character I would have and so on.
That's one thing I adore about RO. So many classes I've never come across in any other game.
/if I could have a gypsy or a stalker elsewhere…
/that would be AWESOME
I just went looking for all the art I remember, and I see that there are a ton of new classes now.
From the old ones I remember, the Swordsman is my favorite right now. I like playing girl characters and I tend to go for spell-casters, but I hate how skimpy some of the girl outfits are.
I suck at using console controls. Im that guy at a LAN always going "Hey guys, I keep seeing the sky... Oh, no, wait! I found my feet! OK I think Im getting the hang of this! DAMN IT! I'm dead. Again. Yes I know I just respawned. Yes, I know I dont have any kills yet."
And then after about 2 hrs of that, and several drinks later, I have enough of a hang of it to get around the map, but because everyone else plays those games, and I dont, I have NFI where anyone else is, so I get bored and go exploring for weird places to try and get to. That usually results in me getting an accidental kill, usually in a vehicle lol!
LongFeline, I've yet to play D3, I didnt like the always online part, and the amount of issues to be had on its release turned me off. How fares the story line though, thats the main point? If the story line is crapola, I wont bring myself to try it, but if its not too bad, I might consider it when its cheaper to buy. Maybe.
I've never had a computer that could handle games. In highschool I had a desktop that could sort of play WoW, but I quit when my character fell through a staircase and couldn't get out. So it's been console games for me for a long time. Sure we don't get as frequent updates and patches and we can't mod the hell out of the game but I like it.
As for Diablo3. It's fun. The plot is there, but to be honest I just really like running around and killing monsters, so I didn't really pay attention my first run through. Now in my second run I'm trying to keep up with the plot and it's pretty good so far. Mind you I'm still in Act 1 in nightmare mode. Because it allows for single player mode or team play on Xbox I can either run around on my own or play with my nephew or brother-in-laws. I've really gotten into trying to nerf my minions though. XD
