Yeah, I think now "God" is more of a loose term referring to whatever you believe in. The messiah, Buddha, Yaweigh, etc. (I know more but my brain is falling asleep and I can't remember them for the life of me, nor the proper spelling).
That could actually work and would probably make people feel better about it. Instead of saying god, you just insert you belief or skip it.

But it'd be a good idea. Wouldn't offend anyone and everyone can be happy and use their own god's names and such.
