Needing purpose

Came out last week on PS systems and I still can't stop playing. This game is addictive. Shows the great advantage of random generated characters and dungeons. What do you think of it?

The misfortunes are the best part... like flatulence, causing them to fart from... I think it was jumping?
I never did beat that

I'm at 300 deaths and I'm stuck going after my third boss(the dungeon). I'm going crazy. I killed the first boss by my 20th death mostly as I was trying to figure it out. I started to watch some videos of it a few days ago and saw a video of someone who beat the game with the first knight. I still can't believe it.

First Knight? Wow... someone had too much time on their hands to do that... cause that was definitely not their first game...

I agree. I want to know how many times they had to delete their progress to get that far. I mean, I'd love to get to that point, but my luck has been horrible. x.x

I would probably increase that number drastically. With the learning curve, they probably played from the very beginning. I'll just be happy when I beat this game once.

Well, odds are they played through deaths and all to learn the monsters and the bosses

XD Pretty much. But I think they could really expand on it to warrant a sequel. Maybe keep the game the same length, but make it harder, add more in the way of classes and customization options, and add another element of sometime to just make that game go to the next level. But I must say, Rogue Legacy: Deathocalypse would be pretty awesome.:)

Ooh, Deathocalypse flows much better
They'd need to figure out another story, but hey he's a knight, there's always the option of saving princesses from castles.

Save the princess and fight a dragon. Massive dragons for final bosses ftw.

Perhaps each death the princess gets a similar "change" which makes her less appealing. So the faster you win the better she looks?

That would make people have to play it over and over trying to see what the original princess looked like.

There are a ton of options you can do to keep people playing. It wouldn't be that hard I think to do that, or do something very similar. But you would have to consider that after a certain number of deaths, she wouldn't' change much
