we also use something else, its starts with a "v" and it lets you text and call for free. We use that when she is in the states

I was talking to a friend about that last night - well rather I was listening. As that's been going on with her, from someone who she thought was her best friend and also happens to be her boyfriend. :(
Makes me wish I could go and give her a hug, but I'm in CA and she's in HI.

And then when it gets fast, there's a good audience for my posts. If someone gets weirded out or amused… I have succeeded. If I get ignored… I roll again. If I get ignored again… I'm making gold. I have that mentality, and that's why I love myself.

I think I know what you're talking about - sadly Phoenix (she has an account on here, and I'm not sure if she's ok me using her actual name) doesn't have the money to come here either. :( But we make do with what we have. ^_^ (She's really just a really really close friend, who's like a sister. She's like the older sister I never had.)

Ahh I sees. I wish I had someone like that but I have an older sister and she is awesome and I am actually older than most of my closest friends. Or I at least act like that

And she said we're okay, that things won't change.
But she just strings me along, making me think we're okay, and then just ignores me when her other friends come around.
When her other friends aren't around, she'll come crying to me about her problems, but once they show up, I'm left. She'll go running to them and I'm just stuck in the background.

I am older than most my friends too -- most people don't believe me when I say how old I am though.

So you're only 'handy' whenever she has problems, but when everything is fine - you're forgotten? How is that your problem. That sounds like her issues all the way, not your fault at all. :( Still not fun, at all! :(

Months later she finds me again, (after I tried to disappear from her radar) and asks me why I left. I explained to her why I did and we somehow ended up talking again. But things are so different now. She says she wants me around and that she doesn't want me to leave her again. So that's what I'm doing. I'm sticking by her for as long as she wants.
But she has other friends now and she treats them like how she used to treat me. She claims I'm super important to her, and yet I'm left in the background while she's off with her new best friends as she put it.

That doesn't sound fair to you - you should just do what's best for you. And if that means walking away from a toxic friendship, then maybe that's what you have to do? :(
