it was weird, i had just posted what to do on the fridge
i knew, but it dawned on me if i was unconscience would any one else
so now there are little orange juice boxes stashed all over the place!
my pharmacy tech that works with me gave me instructions to give to everyone i know that might find me passed out. he said i was lucky because after the shot i was probably as low as 15 BG with being there for 6 hours. he never yells at me, he's very much a Christian. but he yelled at me. 'do you want to know what a diabetic coma feels like?!!'
it really hit home this is an illness and i need to take it very seriously. no more skipping meals for days at a time for me.
sorry for TMI.
i usually only saddle cloudie and The Wandering Poet: with this.
poet, i just ate. steak and a baked sweet potato and cucumbers and roasted red pepper with greek yogurt dip =3 i am feeling great!!!!!
i still feel good, too =3
i am going to eat some oatmeal in a little bit
i feel like i am eating all the time, but it's working
i just don't eat a lot and when i feel hungry i eat a meal
*hugs* thank you for caring, Poet, it means a lot to me
i hope you had/have a great day at work all week long <3

That's how eating works hummy ^^ if you're hungry you eat.
Of course I care ^^ hummy is one of the nicest people I know.
lol i know that's how it works
it's the being able to swallow it that is difficult
but i am making sure i have oatmeal and bananas
those are two things i can usually eat a bite or two of even if i am not hungry
yeah you pass out and get the fear of a diabetic coma reality motivates ya =3

Well, we better get better clouds up north - and occasionally some good clouds/sunsets down here. :) Just not as often down here as we do back home.
The heat isn't too bad - it is sunny almost year round, at least down south. Up north, we do have varying seasons, typically - heat and cold. Not just the heat as it seems to be pretty normal down here (70's and 80's at the moment, but up into the 100's come late spring/summer). It does cool down here at night. Pleasant enough to have my window open for a nice breeze. :)
that's nice
san diego was so nice
always around 72 degrees
i don't know how far away you are from there

I'm about 2 1/2 hours north of San Diego. :)
I actually do miss the seasons, and the almost nearly constant warm temps and sun is tiring. And being such a fair pale skinned person, it's difficult for me - I burn really easily.
i was in new hampshire*i think*something called moosehead lake lodge once
the leaves were breathtaking!
but nothing compares to the sakura blossoms swirling around looking like snow fall
that. i miss terribly so much i am going to google to find a youtube of it

I have a friend in New Hampshire and she's sent me pictures of fall and omg, definitely so gorgeous!! The school I used to go to had a ton of beautiful trees that changed in the fall. It would bring so much color! I miss that!
Wonder: Sounds a bit like where my friend lives down there. The temps sometimes weren't too bad - but then again, I went down there right before the start of winter. So that could have been it?
In Australia is either dead hot or kinda cold. Where I live anyway, nothing in between.

Yeah no diabetic comas please. Mene needs to have it's humming birdie forever.
I'm glad you finally found food you can always eat . Now I have one less thing I have to worry about every day.
Work has been okay. They keep trying to make me do double shifts though...
isn't that a safety violation
i mean you could make a mistake and the client could suffer
i guess it shows you are good at your job, too =3
please don't worry, i feel bad that you do
there are a lot of other things to worry about in the world

I dunno... they say a lot of things about my job are a violation... but I don't really know...
I've been declining those shifts... I mean I currently have 4 other days open... can't they call me in on THOSE days?
Lots of other things to worry about, but hummy is in my book of people I worry about. There's no escaping that one I worry about people I know even if they are perfectly healthy.
