I wish there was a Saxby's in here. Their coffee's better than Starbucks, cheaper, and I like the atmosphere there better than most Starbucks. Plus I can get a light lunch there without spending an arm an a leg, unlike Starbucks. And they have a wider selection of flavor shots.

I miss the Coffee Roasters back home. Cheap coffee freshly roasted and at least 60 flavors to choose from! Was awesome!

So sorry for the uber uber uber uber late response - she calmed down about two hours after that post - and I ended up getting a headache from the screaming (and I gave up on trying to be social and just cuddled with my youngest). Soph did end up falling asleep - not sure how though. And we didn't end up going to the park... *Sighs* So we're still at home. I really wanted to get out but I wasn't going to reward her with the park after that tantrum, sorry but I don't need her associating tantrums with getting to go to the park. Nope. D:

Parks are good, but not after 2 hour long tantrums that started after apparently I was doing thing wrong with getting us ready to go to the park... :/ So we didn't go. :(
I'm glad she calmed down to, and is now taking a nap - she should be awake soon though.
The headache is mostly gone, still kinda nagging though. Even though I took something for it.

Ow two hours is a bit long for a tantrum.
Though glad you got a break from it. Maybe she just woke up cranky.

You're telling me. How my youngest managed to actually fall asleep during said tantrum that her older sister was throwing is beyond me!
Oh, she was fine before she threw the tantrum. :/ She's at that age where if things don't go her way... she throws tantrums.

Yeah - I'm just glad that my hubs and I agree on not giving in or giving her attention during the tantrums. We don't want her to associate attention with tantrum throwing. We do keep an eye on her, but don't let her know that.
I just was looking forward to not being stuck at home all day. :(
TejinaShinsen: Funny thing is that we do call our oldest Hurricane Becca.
It really isn't a bad age - she's a great girl - except for these tantrums... Normally they don't last 2 hours though! *sighs and bangs her head into a pile of pillows*

That's actually amusing.
I just don't know how to handle kids who aren't talking. Over the age of six I can handle. *Will probably never have kids of her own thanks* I'm so not mommy material. I have no idea where you mothers get the strength and patience to do the job.

But my daughter does talk. It isn't like she isn't vocal, and boy she loves to talk, she gets better at talking every day! Yes, she is 3... yes she isn't able to talk as well as some, but she is still young. But she isn't mute. That's for sure. lol
