April laughed shakeing her head and gently flew down and placed him down."then care to stay here,while i go round up the animals runniing around teh city?",she said pulling him into a deep kiss."please?",she asked softly

"Very well." Erik smiled. "I'll be a good boy and wait here."

April smiled softly and kissed his cheek."thanks",she paused."if you behave,i'll give you a treat",she said and quickly flew off.

Erik sat down to wait for her to come back counting the stars.

Martha sat in a bar slowly sipping a hard drink deep in thought.

In the far corner of the bar ,Jason sat drinking away,he had made a piramid out of the glasses he had used glanceing over he blinked seeing Martha.He frowned and looked away.'Why bother?',he thought to himself.

As eric sat there someone called out to him from the shadows."Now who would have thought,that the great son of the joker,would treat a hero,so kindly and traet her so tenderly"

Erik jumped a little then sighed. "Just because I'm Joker's father doesn't mean I can't have my own thoughts." he frowned.

Martha started crying into her drink hiding her face from the crowd not seeming to notice him.

Jason sighed."im going to end up regretting this",he said pulling away from his spot and took a seat beside Martha.Sighing he looked to her."whats wrong?",he asked calmly as he ordered another drink.

The voice laughed."well what would your dear old dad think ,if he were to find out you have a hero as a girl friend?",then it laughed again."though i must say you have great taste ....."

"I'll deal with my dad." Erik shrugged. "He's losing his touch...leave her alone." He warned glaring.

Martha blinked "Nothing." she murmured sniffling.

Jason looked er over."then why are you so sad?",he asked softly.


"oh i have a bone to pick with your dad",the voice said and laughed a bit more."aw. and if i dont?",he

"I'll kill you." Erik said simple.

"Because I can be ok." Martha snarled.

"Hey relax will you,its not like ive done anything to you so try not to take it out on me when im trying to see if your okay",he snapped back.

The voice juat laughed."ohhhh this will be fun....",the laughed then echoed as things slowly wnet silent.

A short while after April came back with the animals and after locking them up landed beside Eric."miss me",she said kissing his cheek.

"hmm?" Erik tore his gaze from the shadows then smiled at her. "Of course I did love."

"Sorry." Martha mumbled. "I just have a lot on my mind." she stirred her ice around sighing a little.

"like what?",Jason asked ordering another drink and looked back to Martha.

Aptil blinked a few times ."you okay?",she asked looking worried

"My brother left to go lead the league of shadows." Martha said flatly sniffling a little.

"Fine." Erik squeezed her. "Know what's my prize for being a good boy?" he grinned.

April grinned and then held his face and kissed him deeply."back home",he said rinning.

Jason blinked but sighed looking down to his new drink."sorry to here that.Does that mean that the crazy Talia is back?",he asked looking a bit worried

"Yep living in town. Mom's not exactly happy. She's having it out with dad...I wouldn't even be here right know if Talia had told dad she was pregnant." Martha started crying again. "Dad only married mom because she told him about me before I was born." she hiccupped.

"Ok." Erik said all other thoughts forgotten. He took her hand and lead the way humming happily. "Your apartment or mine?" he asked unlocking the glass door into there apartment.

Jason frowned."I'm sure thats not true,from what i use to ere , your parents really loved each other"

April grinned."mine",she said happily entering the buiilding

"They would never have gotten married if I hadn't come along." Martha cried harder. "Mom nearly killed him when she found out he had gotten Talia knocked up before her almost divorced him to but she felt bad leaving him with no family."

"Alright." Erik lead her up the stairs holding her hand gentle.

April grinned at him.He was so good to her,it was hard to believe he was a criminal. Once in her apartment,she sat him on the couch."close your eyes,ill be riht back",she said running to her room

Jason starred.He thought a moment and carefuly put an arm around her."Im sorry....i cant imagine what thats like",he said softly

"Alright." Erik did as told smiling a little.

Martha clung to him sobbing harder.

Jason blink but hugged her ."it'll be okay",h said softly.

April blushed softly as she looked over a ,very cute looking ...''pj set' , and smileing she slowly came out makeing sure his eyes were closed she nodded."okay you can open"

Erik opened her eyes a lazy smile on his face which fell into a slack jawed look. "Wow." he whistled softly then grinned. "Sexy." he teased.

Martha finally managed to stop crying. "Sorry about that." she rubbed her cheeks. "I shouldn't have lost it like that." she sniffed.

April blushed but smiled."thought you might like it",she said going over to him and kissed him deeply.

Jason smiled some."its okay, i don't mind,or judge,even strong people need to let it out evey now and then"

Erik blinked then kissed her back pulling her to him threading a hand threw her hair.

Martha smiled a little. "Thanks anyways." She paid for his drinks as well as hers. "Maybe there done arguing and it's safe to go back." She stood gracefully. "See you."

Jason blinked when she paid for his drink and stood."mind if i walk you?",he said calmly

April grinned softly."I like seeing you surprised"
