Jason smiled some."sick of my face already?",he said staying where he was.

"Maybe." Martha said in a matter of fact way. "Maybe not." she smiled. "I was right about Erik though." she smiled. "Your friend is with you." she pushed a hand threw her hair. "It's good to have a friend or family." she patted his shoulder. "At least you are fine."

Jason smiled some."yes,though do you know the April girl hes with?",he asked frowning some

"Of course she's my best friend and I wish they would listen but they believe what they want and no more." Martha shrugged. "And I've heard about the new asylum papa's trying to out bid this new person."

Jason smiled some."that's nice,and i don't believe what the city is saying,that she's some horrible monster.....i mean , you seem nice and Eric seems.....well....when it comes to her nice....so i have no doubt that she is a good person",he said sighing as he picked out a random book."though she called Eric when he was here...and he got upset and then he vanished",he then loooked to her."really well now that is strange,two people trying to buy the land where this Archam place once stood ....one wants to rebuld it and make it a better place,or so they say, and your father,what does he want with it?"

"To build a proper asylum. Where the citizens of the town can go for help and with luck stay that way. New people in the city usually don't last long or the turn out evil." Martha shrugged.

Jaosn nodded."I see....."

"At least someone besides Gordan and papa's wards." Martha had her arms full by now with martial arts books, romance, fantasy, and law books.

Jason smiled sweetly at her."need some help?"

Martha blinked at the weight in hers arms. "Sure." She let him take some. "I just need one more thing." She pulled another book down. "Done." She nodded heading for the check out desk. "Always so many." The guy chuckled as he began checking the books out.

Jason smiled to her."advid reader?",he asked as he helped her wth the books

"Yes it's all I have time for plus partying isn't my thing." Martha shrugged.

Jason smiled softly to her."i dont know if i was or not, but i like the library apparently"

"They'll come back eventually." Martha shrugged a little. "If not then your lucky to be able to start fresh there are many in the city who wish for that chance.''

Jason nodded."agreed",he said softly

"well thanks for the help." Martha gathered her books. "See you around." She started to leave.

Jason watched her a moment."w-wait! Um maybe we ...I mean would you like to do something this Friday?"He asked trying to hold in a blush.

"Sorry I'm busy." Martha gave him a fake smile her best one so it couldn't be seen it was fake. "All month actually."

Jason blinked and sighed."Look you don't have to lie, you can just say no,that you woulndt want to be caught dead with me",he said softly."Enjoy your books",he said leaving hurriedly.How stupid could he be?

Martha felt bad but she couldn't help it her night life kept her busy and as cute as he was she had to think of Gotham first.

Getting home Jason went straight to bed nt feeling like haveing dinner,or talking to his mother at the moment

Martha went home had supper and changed into her costume filling her night with adventure.

Back at the Island...April been keeping herslef busy,and was rebuilding the house,only this time made it more in the trees.She had been going none stop,refuseing to sleep.

Jason after a while started to witch the news and such and then blinked when the news of Arkham came on. Bruce whane had been out bidded. Sighing he leaned back.Who was that ritch that someone could out bid Bruce ...

At the Wayne manor Bruce was making phone calls pacing his children, wife and butler watching while Ace paced with him wanting attention.

Erik was helping her often making her stop to give her a kiss and hug distracting her for the moment.
