"Stay out of trouble." Martha called after him shaking her head to clear it. "He's just another distraction from the job." She gasped as someone pushed her into Jason she heard a stuttered apology. "I'm fine I assure you." She smiled at the person as she righted herself. "Soory Jason." She dusted him off.

Jason blinked as Martha was suddenly against him scowl at who ever had pushed her. Then looking down at her as she dusted him off."its okay",he said doftly then taking a deep breath he suddenly kissed her sweetly."hate me, kill me, or hurt me. I just wanted to do that at least once",he breathed softly then waited for his pumeling.

Martha stood there mouth open. "How could you?" Tears appeared at the corners of her eyes. He had taken her first kiss something she had promised she would never give up. "Never come near me again." Half crying she raced off.

Jason watched her go and with a sigh he headed off.Even the second time around,he couldn't do anything right. How did it come so easy to Eric?

Both Bruce and Salina tried talking Martha around but she refused to leave the room she had holed up in. After the party she fled to the manor locking herself in her room.

As she sat in her room.her phone buzzed,it was April

At first Martha didn't want to answer but with a sigh. "Go away Ana." She quoted Disney a classic sign she was upset.

April blinked a few times."My martha senses were ingeling, im glad I called",she said frowning."look i took some alone time so no ones around,whats wrong?or do you want me popping into your room?",she asked softly

Martha started crying again her voice shaky as she gasped a little. "Its a long story." She sobbed pulling her knees up to her chin crying more.

April blinked and frowned."Ill be right there",she said leaving anoice for Jason not tp panic and that she would be back sooon.Then transported into Marthas room and hugged her

Martha hugged back nearly crushing her. "I lost my first kiss." She sobbed clinging harder.

April blinked a few times,she knew Matha never wanted to loose it,but it was still kinda cute.Smileing she hugged her carefuly not wnating her powers to go out of wack."Im sorry",he said softly

"The worst part was I liked it!" Martha started to play with her hair. "What's wrong with me?" She sobbed.

April blinked."thats a bad thing that you liked it?okay who was it with?

"Of course its a bad thing...it was Jason." Martha made a face. "Why couldn't he have left me alone like I asked?!" She was beginning to pull her hair out though she didn't seem to notice.

April gently grabbed her wrist."Martha, dont ....",she said softly."you liked it, because you care for him",she said softly."he cares for you. But since you don't want anything to do with him,he did the one thing he could think of.To show you. But if you told him to take a hike he might back off now",she said sighing trying to think.

"I don't care about him!" Martha stood so fast she threw April off her bed. Fresh tears ran down her face. "I hate him. I hate love!"

April yelped rubbing her head.She felt a cringe of anger in her causeing a light bulb to flicker. "Martha, you told me you liked him.And whats so wrong with love?"

Martha froze "Did I say that? No, I didn't mean like him just liked him to go away." she sat back down looking horrified. "Love is bad for a hero it could get you, the other person or the city destroyed. It already destroyed Jason because he was stupid enough to let it cloud his mind. No I'm not like that I'll go into a deep meditation and I'll feel better." she nodded then looked at April "Sorry about that." she helped her up and gave her a hug.

April rolled her eyes not hugging back."you are so stuborn at times",she mutterd. "so that crack about love, was that some jab at me loving Eric",she tried not to flinch at a pain that was starting in her head.

"No, no of course not." Martha said hurriedly. "I know you...love Erik." she made a face at his name. "That's your choice and I support you...it would just be nice to have someone support my ideas." she sounded so melancholy at that moment.

"You always have my support, i just want you to be happy i worry about you",she said softly.She bit her lip.This was not the time to tell her about her engagement."Look, yo need a vacation,you should go anywhere but here for a week,to rest up,clear your head...or train....whatever you like"

Martha was about to answer when she saw something. "April...is there something you aren't telling me?" she was staring at her hand eyebrow raised a smiled on her face. "Congrats." she meant it to. "Maybe I'll go with you and Erik help you pick things out...though papa needs me here."

April blinked but smiled grabbing her."I'd love that",she said happily."come on you have to see this island i found,please",she said giving her puppy dog eyes

"Oh the face my one weakness." Martha grimaced but then grinned. "Alright but I have to warn my parent..." she trailed off as her door opened to reveal and grinning Selena. "Of course you can go!" she hugged April "Congrats dear...just let me handle Bruce and Richard I can enlist Starfire to help."
