"We can get along but that doesn't mean I'll talk to you or even spend more then necessary time with you." Martha rolled her eyes.

"It would be nice if the room didn't turn cold every time they saw each other." Erik smirked.

April nodded."it would",she said and curled into him yawning.

Jason sighed."why do you hate me so much?",h asked softly

Erik wrapped his arm around her shoulders and kissed his forehead.

"I don't hate but I also don't like you in any special way." Martha shrugged.

"why though?",Jason said pouting a little

April blushed and smiled softly."love you",she murmured and felt herself dozing off

"Your not cute. I don't like any guys that way, Gotham needs to come first, and oh your not cute." Martha shrugged again staring at the wall.

Jason laughed."tipical smg hero",he said leaning back aginst the wall.

"So I'll talk to you but don't accept anything else." Martha held out her hand. "Agreed?"

"Not even friends?just friends,because i think thats what April wants..."

"Well April can bite me." Martha snorted "I don't care if she blasts me I'll feel how I want to about you and if she doesn't like it then she can find someone else to hang out with."

Jason sat back."thats a nice attitude",he said softly.Then shook her hand and left it at that.

"Well I do have my own feelings despite whatever one around me seems to think." Martha finished what she had been fiddling with and pushed the door open marching out.

Erik was asleep his head resting on April's but when the closet door banged opened he woke with a start. "Oh crap April wake up we have to run because we are so dead."

April jolted awake and blasted her lamp."opps",she then saw Martha and Jason and yelped jumping up."i just wnated you guys not to hate each other!"

Jason flinched when the door opened and watched as April blasted the lamp frwning,knowing that her powers were still out of wack

"We agreed to talk to each other nothing more." Martha glared at them. "Don't ever do that again." she vanished threw the window.

"Oh thank goodness she didn't kill us." Erik sighed in relief.

April frowned."sh-she hates me"

"i hate you both if that helps",Jason said leaving as well

April looked down almost wanting to cry ."why did i do that?"

"Well at least the aren't trying to kill each other. Martha will forgive you doesn't she always and Jason never liked me that much to start with."

April looked to him and smiled softly."true,but even if they do hate us,so long as we dont hate each other that's all that matters"

"I would never hate you." Erik kissed her gentle. "Now I'll carry you to bed so we can sleep." he lifted her up and carried her to her room settling her on the bed then curled next to her.

April grinned at him and kissed him gently."thank you",she said yawning again and closed her eyes,staying close to him,hopeing she woulndnt have a nightmare and have her powers go wacky again.

Jason sighed feeling a bit bad about what he said."ill see them tomorrow"

Erik kissed her forehead then fell asleep as well.

Martha sat in her room thinking about what had happened that day. "I will never fall in love." she glared at the mirror then threw a blanket over it growling.

Json walked along and sighed."Erics right i need to find some one else,who isnt a stuck up hero...or a Wane....they don't give anone a chance",he told himself,he thought of Rose then laughed a bit."Dark would kill em ..."

Martha walked threw the city unable to sleep blinking when she ran across Jason. "We have got to stop meeting like this." she chuckled.

Jason stopped looking at her."yeah ",he said smileing a little hearing her laugh."hard time sleeping?",he asked casually.

"Yep...I'm use to the police calling on my father that when we aren't working I can't sleep." Martha shrugged. "Nothing a late night walk won't cure."

Jason smile some."agreed, i like night time wals",he said sorta shyly

Martha stared at him thinking she opened her mouth several times to say something but in the end she just smiled. "I'll see you at the wedding." she turned and headed back the way she had came.
