Erik froze then growled. "I know that but between three superheros, one girlfriend who has amazing powers and myself I'll be fine." he sighed softly.

Jason bit his lip."fine, but do you sware that if need be you'll call me to help?"

"Of course I swear." Erik sighed exasperated. "Now go enjoy so time to yourself." Just as he finished that sentence a very familiar person walked in. "Erik your father wishes to speak with you." Joker laughed as everyone began to panic.

Jason smiled and was about to turn to leave,then hearing the Joakers voice,he felt a chhill come down his back and slowly turned to Joaker. This was not good

"****." Erik said using a most unfamily friendly word."Um...run." he pulled Jason and raced off trying to get away from the restaurant so no innocent people could get hurt."

Jason growled then looked to Eric and nodded as they ran off,hoping that there was no gun fire."where do we go!"

April in the mean time was making her way to the dinner to get something to eat. She was having all kinds of cravings,so a resturant was the best bet at this point

Erik skipped to a stop as Harley appeared before them. "I'm keep running." she pushed him away. 'get to April and protect her.' she pushed him away and stood between him and Joker. 'Go!'

Jason gave a worried look to Harley then looked to Eric."come on Eric, lets go",he said calmly and started running again

Erik followed hoping the Martha was keeping an eye on April. He was a little off it was Nightwing who shadowed April landing neatly in front of her a few feet. "I need to get you home." Nightwing glanced into the dark. "I'll buy you what you want."

April had been half day day dreaming , looking at her stomach,then when nightwing landed in-front of her she came very close to blasting him,then blinked a bit."huh,why whats going on?",she said worriedly.

Jason picked up the paste."man it a good thing we know the streets like the back of our hand"

"It's Joker he's after Erik. Damien's got him and Jason covered." Nightwing held out his hand to her.

"A really good thing." Erik panted. "It's a bad thing I'm out of shape."

Nightwing lead her home and stood in the doorway greeting Erik and Jason then nodded to Damien who lounged in the hallway.

April had been pacing back and forth.Then once Eric and Jason came hme she instanly went to Eric hugging him tightly."tahnk goodness"

Jason smiled softly at April and Eric then looked to Nightwing and Damien." so how bad is it?"

"Bad." Martha responded entering threw the window like usual. "he killed Harley for standing up for Erik." Erik felt his legs give out underneath him and he had to sit down managing to not pull April with him. "No."

Erik crushed April to him sobbing into her stomach. Martha frowned pulling away when Damien tried to see the arm she was holding. "it's just a cut Joker managed to cut me before he vanished."

Jason looked to her then headed to the first aid kit,and came back."lets at leats traet it for now",he said calmly.

Martha pouted then held her arm out. "Fine.''

Erik just stayed where he was refusing to let April go.

Jason kept a serious face as he treated it,careful not to hurt her."there",he closed up the first aid kit then put it away."Ill keep watch out back",he said calmly and went out side,,he needed some air to try and calm down

Martha followed a curious look on her face. "I want to apologize for my behavior." She stated. "You deserve a second chance to be a good person."

Jason watched the people below and looked around."She .... wasn't all that bad of person",he said softly."she had a horrible taste in men .... but she wasn't that bad",he gripped the railing. "I should have stayed there, to help her ward off the jocker ...."
