Lori managed some how to lose Bane and stood in on the sidewalk gasping for air. She glanced around then realized that she had gone down a dead end alleyway. "Perfect." She sighed then whirled around when a chuckle came from the entrance.

Joker grinned at her. "You sure can run to bad you wound up here...Talia hired me to help get rid of you...I always have been curious what Bruce would do if you died. Would he just break me again or kill me. If you come back to life like Jason I'll have to laugh." He was smirking.

"Are we close?" Gemini asked worriedly, earning a nod from Batman. Gemini hadn't bothered to change, since she didn't have time. As the Batmobile screeched to a halt, Gemini and Lucifer jumped out at the same time as Batman. Lucifer started barking angrily, and Gemini knew what she was about to see.

Jumping out of the Batmobile, Batman noted that Lucifer looked rather angry, and decided that it was a good thing. They needed all the help they could get. He motioned to Gemini, and together the three of them ran into the alleyway. Before Batman could say a word, Lucifer darted forward and made to tackle the Joker, his jaws wide and deadly.

Joker dodged out of the way revealing an empty alleyway. "There you two are I was wondering when you would catch up with Mr. J." Harley giggled "I managed to trick you two.'' she looked happy with herself.

Joker stood watching as Talia kicked the tied up Lori making her hiss and groan. He wasn't sure he was alright with this flinching when Talia hit her with a staff.

Gemini snarled. For some reason, the sight of this particular woman just ticked her off. "Batman, go and find Lori. I'll stay here and take care of this little bitch." She said.

Batman hesitated only a moment before nodding and running out of the alleyway. This time, he would use a tracking device that he had slipped into Lori's shoe before parting ways. He could only hope that her shoes were still on.

Meanwhile, Gemini squared off against Harley, with Lucifer growling at her side. "I hope you've enjoyed your life so far, dear, because it's about to take a turn for the worst."

"You think you can take me I've gotten worse from puddin." Harley pulled out her signature weapon a mallet and swung at her grinning slightly.

Luck for him she still had her shoes on as she lay on the floor at Talia's feet bleeding and in pain. "you are stubborn.'' Talia hit her harder with the staff making Lori groan and nearly black out. "soon i'll leave your broken body for him to find.' she laughed and kept hitting her.

Gemini jumped up and landed on the weapon, then ran down it's length to kick Harley in the face. While she was doing that, Lucifer snuck around behind the woman and got ready to attack if Gemini's kick missed.

Batman raced towards the signal from Lori's tracking device, and arrived shortly. Looking around, he listened for any sound and heard, very faintly, a groan. He ran towards it.

Talia eventually stopped and chuckled tossing the staff aside she signaled Bane and Joker who set up the bomb. Joker scowled but to be honest he was to scared of her to say this had been done before. They left her tied up and slowly blacking out hoping some how Bruce would find her.

Harley yelped and stumbled backwards bringing the mallet up shaking her off. She turned and giggled "this is fun.''

Gemini flipped backwards, avoiding the next swing. Lucifer pounced at that moment, tackling Harley from behind, intent on ripping her to shreds.

Batman found the alleyway where Lori was, and raced to then end of it. "Lori! Are you okay?"

((Just gonna assume he can find her now?))

Harley hit him with the mallet growling a little "Your not as bad as the hyena's.'' she laughed.

Lori groaned and opened her eyes slowly staring up at him she forced a small smile onto her face before looking to the bomb.

((ZZZ huh? oh yeah building bomb zzz))

Lucifer dodged the blow and went in again, relentless. While he was distracting her, Gemini came at her with a set of knives.

Batman followed her gaze, and his eyes widened. Hastily, he picked her up and got the hell out of there. "Damned Joker...I hope he isn't too attached to that Harley chick, because Gemini is trying to kill her as we speak." He said, hoping the clown was nearby enough to hear.

Lori hissed and whimpered for sure something was broken. As the bomb went of it knocked him off his feet with his ninja they weren't harmed but Lori blacked out from the force of the fall.

Batman managed to save them from getting really hurt, but he noticed that Lori had fainted. He brought her back to the Batmobile and set her gently on a seat, making sure she wouldn't be jostled too much. Then he got in and drove back to the mansion, not trusting the hospital to be safe right now.

Gemini managed to get past Harley's defenses, and after that she was unstoppable. Lucifer joined in, showing her exactly why he was named after the devil. The details...were too graphic to describe.

Lori managed to come to a few times but always drifted off again. Once she woke only to cough up blood before passing out again. She flinched when they stopped and groaned reaching for his hand "you did take me to the hospital right?'' she asked even with his knowledge she knew he might not know how to tell if her organ's had been bruised. "Oh yeah costume.'' she was struggling to speak everything hurt.

"We're at my place. Don't worry, I'll take care of you." Batman said, getting out and going around to gently pick Lori up. "Hold as still as you can. I'll get you checked out, and I'l have Alfred call for a family doctor that makes house calls."

Once Gemini was finished, she whistled for Lucifer to follow and left the alleyway. Though she hadn't killed Harley, she had left her bleeding quite a lot, and wouldn't have cared if she died. "Come on, Lucifer, let's go wash all this blood off."

"I need hospital." Lori gripped his arm. "Something broken." She whimpered when he moved her. "Family doctor say same thing." She managed to gasp out. She relaxed in his arms as the pain throbbed threw her.

Batman cursed. "Alright...but I'm not leaving you there alone." He said, carrying Lori over to a different car. He quickly changed so that he could drop her off as Bruce, then got in the car and drove to the hospital.

Gemini was just about to change out of her bloody clothes when she received a text from Bruce. Telling Lucifer to stay and behave, she rushed out, got into her old beater of a car, and drove to meet them at the hospital. She would Stay with Lori, since Bruce being there would only make her a bigger target.

Lori blacked out in the car again. When the nurses saw the shape she was in the hurried her away. The doctor started asking him questions that made Bruce think the thought he might have beat her up.

Thankfully, Bruce was skilled in talking to prying people, and managed to convince the doctor that he was not an abusive man. By the time he finished, Gemini had walked in.

Gemini walked in just as Bruce was finishing talking to a doctor. "Bruce! Is she okay? Where is she? Are they working on her?" She asked worriedly.

"I'm not sure, they took to to check her, and I'm sure they're working on healing her right now." He replied to her questions in order.

"It doesn't look good Mr. Wayne she has a broken rib and internal bleeding." The doctor came out looking grim. "She might die even if we manage to fix her rib."

Bruce had to sit down. "Doctor...please, do everything possible to save her." Was all he managed to say, in a strangled voice.

Gemini clenched her fists, obviously trying to keep her composure. "Please keep us updated." She said to the doctor. Then, she turned to Bruce. "Stay here. I'm going to visit someone who might be able to help. I'll be back soon." She said, before walking out. She got into her car and drove as fast as she could to Ivy's forest. "Ivy!! Please come out, I need your help! Lori needs your help!"

Ivy appeared from the gloom and raised her eyebrow. "Whatever could the problem be?" She asked with a frown.

Gemini nearly cried with relief, and anxiety. "Lori was taken by Talia and beaten really badly. She's in the hospital with a broken rib and internal bleeding, and they're saying she might not make it. Do you have anything, any kind of potion or herbal remedy that might help? Do you know anyone who might have something?" She nearly begged.

"I have something for the bleeding." Ivy looked to the shadows and her daughter appeared with a vial. "The the ribs only the doctors can do that right." She handed over the vial. "Two sips nothing more...she'll be ought for a while as for Talia I'll keep an eye on her."

Gemini gently took the vial, making sure not to break it. "Thank you, so much. I owe you one." She said, before getting back into her car and heading to the hospital.

When Gemini walked back in, Bruce looked up anxiously. "Did you get anything?" He asked.

"Yeah, now I just need to sneak into her room to give it to her." Gemini replied. Easy enough, wih all the practice she had in sneaking.

"Good luck." Bruce said, watching her go.

Lori was laying on the hospital bed her eyes flickered open as if she sensed Gemini groaning when she moved.
