"If you're tired, then get some rest." Bruce told her. "I'll make sure they have some food ready when you wake up next. You need your strength."

Putting her phone back, Gemini shook her head. "It's okay, I'll stay. Lori's with Bruce right now, and she's probably still tired, so she doesn't need me hanging around. Besides, I kind of like hanging out with you."She paused, pouting. "Unless...you want me to leave?"

"Why qould you wan to hang out with me?" Joker snorted a little. "This is a trick isn't it?" he frowned a little at her then patted his hyenas head when he butted his thigh.

"Ok but you should sleep some more to as well love." Lori smiled and feel asleep still holding his hand.

"Why wouldn't I? Believe it or not, you're actually kind of okay when you're not trying so hard." Gemini replied. "It's not a trick. I've never been one for tricks. I'm too honest for that. And anyway..." She shrugged, looking away slightly. "...I may or may not have figured out that I have certain...feelings...about you..."

Bruce smiled, even though he didn't intend to fall asleep any time soon. Not until Lori was in the clear to go home, at least. In the meantime, he watched her sleep.

Lena woke with a groan. "What time is it?" she asked with a yawn and stretched a little.

"Oh really? What kind of feelings? the killing kind?" Joker smirked clearly teasing her.

Bruce glanced up, startled. He had almost fallen asleep, despite his intentions. "It's a little past noon. Your mother woke up for a while, but she was tired so she went back to sleep." He told her.

Blushing, Gemini refused to look at him. "Honestly, sometimes yes. But no, I meant...the kind of feelings you're not supposed to have for someone who broke your heart. Oh, don't make me say it...I can't say those words. I have a lot of trouble with those words."

"I want to make you squirm." Joker grinned leaning towards her. "Go on say it." he chuckled. "I think I love you.''

"Good even though you should be asleep to." Lena chuckled and shook her head. "At least she's alright for the most part."

Frowning, Gemini decided to turn it around on him. "Oh, you do? Why, I'm flattered." She said, obviously kidding. "Okay, okay...I think...I'm pretty sure that...that I..." Trying to say the actual words was too difficult. She started hyperventilating, like she was having a panic attack. "I l-lo...love...y-you..." She managed, before collapsing into tears. "Please don't hurt me, please don't! Daddy please no! I'm sorry, I'm sorry, please Mommy don't hurt me!"

Bruce nodded. "Agreed." He said, yawning. "Maybe I should take a nap...will you keep watch?" He asked.

"Like a faithful watch dog." Lena smirked a little. "Nap bat." She teased.

Joker blinked and rolled his eyes. "Don't be a child. I'm not you dad unless you want me to be of course but judging by the tears you don't... Aren't you suppose to be strong or something?"

Bruce smirked, but didn't reply. Instead, he fell asleep right there in the chair.

Gemini shook her head, clearly lost in some kind of flashback. She was shaking and whimpering, and couldn't seem to speak anymore. After a minute, she clenched her fist and brought it up to her mouth, then bit it, hard enough to make herself bleed. That seemed to snap her out of it. "Shit! Shit f#%k sonofabitch!! That...you weren't supposed to see that! That didn't happen. It never happened, okay? Forget you saw anything!"

"Saw what?" Joker had lost interest and was going threw his files of plans. "Most have missed it." He shrugged and pulled a folder out sitting down at his desk.

Gemini sneered, but didn't say anything else. As long as he didn't see anything, she was fine. No one needed to know about...that. "...I'm sorry. Next time, I'll say it without any problem...I promise." She said after a moment. "What are you doing?" She asked curiously, deciding to forget everything else.

"Plotting." Joker chuckled and looked up. "Just because his girlfriend got hurt doesn't mean I can't still cause problems."

Gemini shook her head. "I should have known." She said, watching him intently. It was kind of like a little kid staring at something that interested them.

"What?" Joker blinked at her raising one eyebrow.

The doctor came in then blinked at Bruce's sleeping form with a chuckle he turned to Lena. "In two more hours she can go home after we check her over of course." Lena nodded.

"What what?" Gemini replied, not knowing what the problem was.

"Will you just go home?" Joker rolled his eyes. "Your acting a lot like Harley."

"Gross! Don't ever compare me to that mindless fangirl!" Gemini said, instantly getting angry. "I only stuck around 'cause I figured you might want some company or something. I should have known better. You're just an antisocial jerk. Jeez, try to do something nice for someone..." She huffed, crossing her arms and turning her back on him.

"Why stare at me though?" Joker snapped back making his hyena's laugh and inch towards them. "Just go look around."

"'Cause you're good looking!" Gemini said, before blushing and walking away. "Just forget it..."

Joker blushed a little. "I'm what?" he sputtered.

Gemini didn't turn around. "I said you're good looking." She said, wishing she could sink into the floor and never be seen again.

"Really? Which version?" Joker asked turning in his chair to watch her.

Gemini crossed her arms protectively over her chest, still not turning around. "...Both..." She mumbled.

Joker walked towards her and turned her around examining her face once he decided she was telling the truth he kissed her.

Gemini blinked, surprised, but after a moment she kissed back.
