"That was not what I meant." Lori blushed. "I didn't want to be crude so I said neutered mister taking everything literally."

Joker took Cal for her sighing. "Great more money I don't have." He grimaced "I'll figure it out."

"Oh." Bruce blushed slightly. "Sorry..." He was saved from having to say anything else when they pulled up to the mansion. He stopped in front of the steps and got out of the car, going around to open Lori's door first. "Welcome home, my love." He said.

Gemini shook her head. "Don't worry too much. It will be almost a year before they're big enough to sleep alone." She said, heading inside. Lucifer greeted her at the door, tail wagging rapidly. "Hello, Lucifer. Back up, okay? You can see them in a minute."

"I have to worry apparently that's what being a parent is all about." Joker chuckled as the hyenas joined Lucifer. "Calm down you spazes." He sighed moving around them.

"Thanks love." Lori smiled and climbed out going to the back to pull Martha out. "Welcome to your home sweety." She turned to Bruce giving him a smile before she walked to the door which opened to reveal Alfred and Ace.

Gemini chuckled. "Well, that's part of it, anyway." She said, setting Calcifer down in the crib. The car ride had put him right to sleep. "Okay, Lucifer, come say hello. But be gentle, they're very small."

Bruce took the bag of their things and followed Lori up to the door. He smiled to see Alfred and Ace waiting for them. "Good to see you two. Say hello to Martha." He said proudly.

Lori knelt so Ace could sniff Martha who had woken from her nap. She blinked at the dog then giggled trying to pat his snot. Ace sniffed the hand then licked her making her Martha giggled more. "Cute." Lori grinned.

Joker placed April in the cribe watching the hyenas closely as they sniffed the babies. They tilted there heads then cackled sitting down around the cribe like they were protecting it.

Bruce smiled widely at the interaction between Ace and Martha. It was adorable, and it was reassuring to know that Ace would get along with his daughter. "I knew it. Ace is an old softy." He said, patting the dog affectionately. "Get used to her now, Ace. She's going to be here for a long time."

Gemini watched with interest as Lucifer finished sniffing at Cal, and then started sniffing at April. Once he had gotten acquainted with both babies, he settled himself at the end of the crib, joining the hyenas in protecting it. "Wow. I almost feel sorry for the fool who tries to get to those babies now." Gemini said.

"Yep eaten alive by hyenas and a dog...what a great way to go." Joker smirked.

Lori scratched Ace's head smiling a little. "What do you think grandpa Alfred?" She looked to the butler. "No arguing she needs a grandparent and your practicely Bruce's father anyways." Alfred just smiled at a lost for words as Martha cooed at him.

Lucifer looked up and huffed indignantly at Joker. Gemini chuckled. "He wants to remind you that he is half wolf, not just a dog." She told him. "But the idea is still the same, either way. The babies are incredibly safe."

Bruce hadn't thought he could smile any wider, but he proved himself wrong just then. "It's true, you know." He said, patting Alfred's shoulder. "You're family, Alfred. And I want Martha to grow up feeling the same way."

"Right, sorry buddy." Joker ruffled his fur smiling then yawned a little. "I think I'm tired."

Alfred rocked Martha a smile on his face. "One big happy family." Lori squeezed Bruce's hand.

Lucifer gave a satisfied "ruff" and settled back down. Gemini smiled, then yawned as well. "Ah, you made me yawn. Or maybe I'm just tired, too." She said.

Bruce squeezed her hand back, a smile on his face that seemed permanent. "How about we all go inside and get settled in?" He suggested.

"Sounds good to me." Lori let Alfred carry Martha to the crib in there room.

Joker smirked. "Let's take a nap while we can." He suggested.

Gemini nodded. "Good idea." She said.

Bruce followed, hooking his arm through Lori's.

Lori glanced at him and smiled. "Can't wait for this...you have to stay home sometimes I hate to drag you away from your city but we need you." She glanced at Alfred who was showing the baby her new bed.

Bruce nodded. "Don't worry, love. I'm retired now...I have to be, now that everyone knows who I am. My only concern there is who is going to replace me." He told her. Once that small matter was taken care of, he planned to devote all of his time to his new family.

"Who needs to replace you? There old enough to tie there own shoes." Lori scowled knowing if he got someone knew he would be training him the whole time.

Bruce shrugged. "I worry, that's all. And let's face it, the police still rely on Batman too much. There's only one person I can think of who could do the job on short notice...well, the only one who isn't already a hero in their own right. Damian has the training and knows how to do it right- probably better than I could, at this point. But I don't know if he'll want to."

"Well ask him silly. I'm sure Lena will drag him her later." Lori smirked at the fact that her daughter already treated Damien like a brother.

"I plan to." Bruce said with a smile.

"Good." Lori smiled. "Know I have to feed her." As Martha started wailing at the top of her voice.

Bruce chuckled. "I'll leave you to that. In the meantime, I'm going to find Damian." He said, and wandered off to look for his son.

At that moment Lena appeared with Damien in tow looking cross. "Oh papa." She grinned.

Bruce raised an eyebrow at the sight in front of him. Even though they were both grown, he couldn't get over how much they looked like siblings who had grown up together. "Lena, Damian. I was just looking for you, actually. Helena, what did you do or say to make Damian look so upset?" He asked suspiciously.

"I don't like to be lead." Damien huffed glaring at her.

Bruce covered his mouth and cleared his throat, covering up the chuckle that that statement caused. "Right. Well, Damian, I actually wanted to talk to you about something. Lena, would you mind giving us a minute alone?" He asked.

"Sure." Lena skipped into the bedroom greeting her mother and sister.

Damien raised his eyebrow. "You have odd taste in women dad."
