Gemini chuckled. "No, she was doing the Catwoman deal for a little while before she met Bruce." She said.

Bruce lowered Martha into her car seat and buckled her in. "There we go, all set to roll." He said, heading for the driver's seat.

Lori slid in to the passenger seat and kissed his cheek. "Love you."

"Hmm. I thought it might be because she liked him so much." Joker shrugged.

Bruce smiled and kissed her back. "Love you more." He said.

"Nope. That's why she kept it going, but that's not how it started."

"Now I know." Joker hugged Gemini randomly.

When they got home Lori took Martha turned and nearly had a heart attack as Damien appeared from the shadows. "I GOT YOU!" he grinned while Martha laughed. "brothah." Damien started glowing while Helena pouted. "Sis." Martha looked to Helena. "It's so much fun when they took cause they don't stop." Lori chuckled walking inside then gasped. "JASON!"

Gemini squeaked in surprise, then giggled and hugged him back. "Now you know."

Bruce followed Lori in, smiling as Martha continued to speak. He stayed behind a second to tell Damien not to scare people like that, but he was cut off by Lori's cry. Bruce ran inside. "What's going on?"

"well Bruce what a great looking family." Jason grinned at him as Lori held Martha close to her.

Joker fell back on to there bed and leaned his head back. "I'm bored."

Bruce felt his heart skip several beats. "Jason...? But how?" He was nearly speechless.

"I think that's the first time since the twins were born that I've heard you say that." Gemini said.

"I survived the blast...your still letting him live? And your letting your child be around him." Jason glared as Lori backed away.

Joker shrugged. "The have kept me busy but I want to rob or blowing something up or both." He smirked.

Getting his breath back, Bruce stepped in front of Lori. "You already knew that I would never kill him. As far as my family, that's none of your business, Jason. What are you doing here?" He demanded.

Gemini shrugged. "Well, I'm sure I can handle the twins by myself for a while. Just remember, in case you get caught, that I have no idea what you're up to." She said.

"Deal!" Joker vanished in a blink five seconds later a old lady screamed.

Lori stayed behind Bruce glaring at Jason. "I had heard you finally got together with kitty." He smirked at Damien and Helena as they entered. "Seems I heard right. You just have a short spot for villains who have tried to kill you...don't you."

Gemini rolled her eyes and pretended not to hear, thanking God that she had soundproofed the twins' room. She decided to make dinner as long as she had the time.

Bruce's face hardened, his eyes bright with anger. "That's enough. Jason, I want you out of here, now. You were family once, but you've made yourself an enemy, and I have no desire to deal with you anymore. I have a real family to protect now, and you're not welcome near them."

"Alright." Jason smiled at Alfred. "Thanks for the tea old man." he walked to the door and left. "What was that about?" Lori blinked a few times. "Ookie?" Martha begged unaware that anything had been going on. "Alright you." Lori got her a cookie frowning the whole time. She jumped as an explosion rocked the city. "Joker." she chuckled.

Joker laughed as the town hall exploded catching other building on fire as it crumbled to the ground.

Bruce shook his head. "I don't know, but I don't like it." He said. He barely reacted to the explosion at all. "Damian, I believe that's your job now." He said.

Gemini cringed, then sighed as the twins started crying. "So much for soundproofing." She said, setting down the pot she had just taken out before going to comfort her children.

Damien and Helena sighed before vanishing into the cave grumbling about killing the Joker once and for all. Lori chuckled at them and feed Martha another cookie. Ace came over to sniff them "Doggy!" Martha went to hand over her cookie to Ace "Oh no doggy can't have that kind of cookie." Lori snatched it away make to Ace's displeasure. "Here." she gave him a milkbone instead he huffed but took it.

Joker eventually came home covered in bruises but looking pleased with himself.

Bruce just chuckled. "Don't feel down, Ace. You know human food makes you sick." He said, patting the dog.

Gemini raised an eyebrow. She had just gotten the twins back to sleep. "You caused a big stir. The twins woke up from it, so I couldn't finish dinner." She said.

Joker grimaced. "Sorry. I'll make supper to make up for it. Oh I saw Jason today."

Lori set Martha down where she wouldn't get into trouble. As Martha crawled around she paused at Ace and grabbing his fur lifted herself onto his back. "Horse." Ace looked a little annoyed but gave her the ride she wanted.

Gemini nearly choked. "Jason? As in the kid who's supposed to be dead twice over, Jason? What the hell is it with people coming back to life around here?!"

Bruce watched, laughing at the sight. "The great Ace becomes a noble steed. Only Martha could get away with that." He said.

Lori nodded. "At least he's good with kids."

Joker nodded. "That would be him...I don't know why he comes back so often...maybe to kill me."

"Thank God for that." Bruce agreed. "I would hate to have to get rid of him. He's such a good dog."

Gemini nodded, making a thoughtful humming sound. "He does have a pretty powerful hate for you. Powerful enough to return from the grave for revenge...twice, apparently." She sighed. "Be careful with him, okay? I'm not ready to lose you."

"I make no promises...he did kidnap me last time...Don't ask how I survived that explosion." Joker kissed her.

Martha slipped from Ace then stood and took a step towards them Lori nearly crushed Bruce's hand as Martha started to tottle towards them.

Gemini kissed him back, then hugged him. "I already know how you survived that one. What worries me is that Bruce isn't the one in the suit anymore...and I'm not sure Damian would save you."

Bruce was too shocked to notice his hand being crushed. He knelt down and held out his free arm. "Good job, Martha! Come to daddy. You can make it!" He encouraged.

"True...I'm dead." Joker grimaced.

Martha made to Bruce and giggled. "Daddy!" "Good job princess." Lori grinned at her.

"Not if you're careful. I swear if you die I'll bring you back just to kill you." Gemini said.

Bruce hugged Martha once she reached him. "Great job! I'm so proud of you." He said.

"Like I have any control over dying." Joker rolled his eyes and placed food on the table.

Martha yawned and fell asleep on his shoulder. "Cute." Lori smiled.

Gemini pouted. "I know that. I'm just...overprotective." She said.

Bruce smiled back and stood up. "I guess it's nap time." He said, heading to Martha's room to put her to bed.
