"Oh, good." Gemini smiled. "My pride's not hurt, then."

Bruce stepped forward, pulling a batarang from his pocket. He always kept one on him, just in case. "Show yourself, coward."

The figure shook its head and vanished leaving the yard empty and a little more creepy. "The hell was that?" Lori pressed Martha close to her.

Joker kissed her passionately. "I would never want to hurt your pride."

Bruce let out a breath he hadn't known he was holding. "I don't know...but let's keep Martha in our room tonight." he said. "Or every night until I figure out what that was..."

"Good, I'm glad. 'Cause pride is pretty much al I've got." Gemini kidded. Suddenly, there was crying. "I suppose the twins need to be fed now. We can continue this discussion later." She said, her tone indicating that there wouldn't be much talking going on.

"Mmh" Joker smirked and followed her picking up Cal.

Lori nodded and swallowed. She carefully carried Martha to there room and placed her in bed while she changed. "Good job Ace." She feed the dog a piece of bacon from there supper. Martha fidgeted till Lori lay next to her "its alright baby we won't let anything happen." Suddenly the bookcase to the batcave opened. "Odd." Lori went to close it gasping as someone pulled her into the cave.

Gemini picked up April. "Alright, you two. Dinner time. And you were good, so you each get a cookie after dinner." She said. April clapped, and Cal giggled.

Bruce went to clean up from dinner, but he was worried, so he ended up just throwing the dishes in the sink and headed to their room. He walked in, saw that the bookcase was open and Lori was missing, and freaked. He picked up Martha and yelled for Alfred. "Ace, get a scent."

"How did I manage to help make such cute kids." Joker smiled at Cal.

Ace sniffed the bookcase to the bat cave and barked. Crashing sounded from the cave as well as Lori's trademarked swearing but the sound of her voice was growing faint.

"You had a little help." Gemini bragged, though she was obviously kidding. "Then again, you're pretty good looking yourself. I've told you that before." She added. Cal giggled, playing peekaboo with April now, though April was too interested in her parents to notice. "Coogie?" She asked. Gemini laughed. "Yes, cookie! After dinner."

Once Bruce made sure that Alfred was watching over Martha, he rushed down into the Batcave. He stayed quiet, knowing that anyone down there would run for it once they knew he was coming. He motioned for Ace to follow him, in case he needed backup, and entered the cave, looking around for his wife.

Lori struggled against the two hooded men who were trying to get her in a old version of one of Robins cars while Red Hood stood watching them. "Hurry up before the old man comes down." He chuckled as Lori glared. Finally they managed to shove her in. "Let's go." He slid into the drivers seat. "You two stay and lead him to me." He ordered before driving away.

Joker placed Cal in his high chair playing peek a poo as he feed him. "I still don't believe I'm good looking you know."

"Ace, get them." Bruce said angrily, stepping out of the shadows. He ran forward, getting ready to surprise attack the two goons.

"Fine, don't believe me." Gemini said, placing April in her high chair. "But I still say it's true."

"Your so stubborn but i love it." Joker grinned.

The goons yelped as one was attacked by Ace the other managed to hold his ground. "Boss has a message." He grinned. "Go to the place he tried to off you and Joker."

Gemini smiled and shrugged. "It's kept me alive this long. I'm not about to stop being stubborn now." She said, getting a jar of food for each of the twins.

Bruce punched the man across the face, hard. "I'll be sure to do that." He growled, proceeding to tie up both goons. Once he was sure they couldn't get away, he told Ace to keep an eye on them and went to find Damian. He was going to need some help.

Joker took Cals. "At least your not stubborn about bed stuff." He teased with a grin. He began to feed Cal his lunch.

Damien and Helena where sitting on top of Wayne tower watching the city soft smiles on there faces. "That was so much fun." Lena grinned then frowned. "Come on something's wrong." She lead the way down to the sidewalk and glanced around.

Gemini blushed. "Yeah, well...you're persuasive." She said, feeding April.

Bruce found them pretty quickly. "Damian, Helena! Come here, I need your help." He said, drawing up close to them.

Joker winked at Cal. "I'll teach you all my secrets when your older." Of course Cal just looked at him confused.

"WHAT!?" Lena exploded. "Your suppose to protect her!" She glared.

Gemini rolled her eyes. "Just don't let me catch you teaching him that stuff." She said. "As far as I'm concerned, my baby boy will always be pure and innocent."

Bruce glared. "You think I don't know that?! Do you really think I'm not about to kill myself right now? Instead of beating me up, why don't you help me save her!" He said angrily.

Joker laughed. "Fair enough." He finished Cals feeding. "I feel like something interesting is going to happen to day."

"Alright well we start were Jason blew up that building." Lena glared back.

"Really? That's strange, I had the same feeling." Gemini said, wiping April's chin off. She went and got two cookies, and gave them to the twins, who both cheered happily.

"Right. Should we call Gemini, too? We can't be too careful here..." Bruce said, obviously terrified.

Lena nodded. "Gem can hunt down mother in a cave full of salt." She dialed the number.

"Circus residence ring leaders helper speaking...sure Helena." Joker chuckled and handed her the phone. "For you."

Gemini raised an eyebrow. "Really?" She said, taking the phone. "Hey. What's up? Yeah...WHAT?! I'm on my way." She hung up the phone and headed for the door. "Keep an eye on the twins, and for the love of God please don't leave until I get back."

Bruce paced, waiting for Helena to finish on the phone. He flinched when he heard Gemini's yell.

Joker looked at the twins. "Don't kill me?" He chuckled nervously.

Helena grinned at her father. "She's going to beat you." She sighed. "Come on Damien we can scope things out." She walked off.

Bruce gulped, and said a quick prayer for his life while he waited for Gemini to appear.

The twins looked at each other, then back at their father, and smiled. "Daddy." April said happily. "Horsey." Cal added cheerfully.

Meanwhile, Gemini arrived where Bruce was. After kicking him in a place not meant to be kicked, she got down to business. "Do you know where she is?"

"Not sure." Bruce replied, his voice unnaturally high. "The message given was to go to the place where Jason tried to off me and Joker. But we can't be positive that he actually took her there. Damian and Helena are scoping it out now."

"In that case, we should find where he's based and look there."

"Yes loves." Joker smiled becoming there horse for them.

Helena reappeared. "He's there alright. The ground is filled with guns and other weapons."

Gemini swore. "Great, this is just wonderful. So he plans to kill all of us, apparently." She said, pacing.

"As long as we can rescue Lori, I'm fine with dying in the process. What's our plan?" Bruce said, totally serious.

"We go in there kick his butt and rescue my mom!" Helena nodded. "Or try to anyways."

Gemini nodded. "I like that plan. Let's do it." She said.

"Alright, then. Let's go." Bruce agreed, already walking.
