Joker groaned and grimaced. "Poor Bruce can't even spend the night with his girl? You really think the cops can't catch me?" He was taunting know happy that he had gotten a rise out of Bruce.

"Very nice." Lori examined her haul. "There security systems suck maybe Wayne tower should offer better." She chuckled.

"They never have before. That's why I'm here." Batman said, this time delivering a punch to the side of his head.

Gemini grinned. "Maybe, but I wasn't quite ready for that just yet. Maybe soon, though." She said.

Joker blacked out laughing.

Lori grabbed her hand "Do my hair and make-up so I'm even more amazing." She begged.

Batman carried Joker to Arkham, where he made sure he was locked up tight...and put into more than one cast.

Gemini nodded and moved around to start on Lori's hair. "Ooh, I've got a jewel in the bag that would look amazing on you."

"Really... He'll know it was stolen though." Lori chuckled. "Probably that I return it so he wouldn't have to arrest me." She rolled her eyes a little the paused a soft blush on her face.

Gemini shook her head. "He won't, though, because he doesn't know that I'm a thief. So if he asks, you can tell him honestly that your friend gave it to you as a gift." She said, finishing her hair and going around to start her makeup.

Once Gemini was done Lori smiled. "I hope he shows up soon...though we won't be able to have another child." she grimaced. "he doesn't even know about Helena despite the hundred times I've tried to tell him."

Gemini sighed. "You've got to just come out and say it. He'll be surprised, probably, but I think he'll be happy. Especially now that you're officially together. How is Helena, anyway?" She asked, taking an amethyst necklace out and handing it to Lori. It was up to her whether she used it or not.

Lori slipped it on. "You know her. Takes after her father off fighting crime though she is nice enough to visit me." she chuckled then swallowed. "What if he hates me?"

"There's no way he'll hate you, Lori. It's just not in his nature." Gemini said confidently, sitting back to look at her friend. "He especially won't be able to hate you looking like that."

((Um...want to explain who Helena is? Remember that Wolfie doesn't know this stuff.))

((*falls over* Helena is Bruce Wayne and Selina's daughter. She's also Huntress a superhero that makes Gotham her home.))
Lori blushed and smiled "Where could he be?" she frowned. "I half expected him to appear when I said he might hate me."

((And she's an adult now, in this rp?))

Gemini shrugged. "Better that he didn't. I need to leave before he gets here, or my cover will be blown. I'll call you tomorrow, okay?" She said, slipping out before receiving an answer.

Only minutes after Gemini's departure, Bruce slipped in through the same window. "Lorinda? I'm back, and I've made sure that I won't be needed for the rest of the night." He said.

Lori hurried over hugging him tightly "I'm glad your back." she smiled up at him. "I have to tell you something." she swallowed. "We had a kid together. God I sound like Talia." she grimaced.
((well at least 18 since there in there 30's))

Pulling off his hood, Bruce stared at Lori for a moment, shocked. "We had...a child? When did this happen?" He asked.

"You remember that time Ivy got you with that special potion of hers?" Lori grinned. "Well lets just say I found you confused. I had just planned to take you home but you had other ideas after I touched you....I didn't think you would remember. She's 18 know...you know huntress right?"

Bruce blinked a few times, swallowed, and then had to sit down. "A daughter. Eighteen years ago, you gave me a daughter that I never knew about. And Huntress...does she know? Does she know who her father is? Oh, God..." He dropped his head into his hands. "Eighteen years, and I wasn't there to raise her. At least with Damien I met him in time to raise him. God, she must hate me, the father that was never there...Lorinda, why didn't you tell me?"

"She doesn't hate you she knows how hard I tried to tell you. She just figured someday you would know and that was good enough for her." Lori grimaced. "Don't be sad love it's not your fault I have no backbone around your rich friends." She sighed. "I guess maybe I never wanted to tell you to keep away from those people. The only reason you know about Damien is because Talia needed a babysitter." She snorted glancing over as the door open. "Hey mom have you...what's this?" A girl stood there the spitting image of Lori only with Bruce's dark hair.

Bruce was so shocked that his jaw actually dropped. "Lorinda, she looks exactly like you...this has to be her, right?" He asked, feeling like he had just been punched in the gut- but it didn't hurt as badly as it should.

"Yep Helena meet Bruce Wayne." Lori grimaced introducing them. "Hello father...don't look so surprised I thought you would be taller and cuter." Helena smirked. "It's nice to finally meet you." she half glared at her mother.

Bruce flinched slightly and stood up. That was almost exactly what Damien had said to him. "Hello...Helena. I'm sorry it took so long to meet you. If you would allow it, even though it's a bit late now, I would like to try and be a father to you."

"Why?" Helena snorted "So you can pay for stuff for me? Mom does that. Tell me not to go out to fight crime? Again mom. Give me toys that create? I do fine with my own stuff." she crossed her arms examining him a soft Bruce like scowl on her face. "I told you she was like you." Lori was trying to hid her smirk.

Bruce shook his head. "No. None of those things are what being a father is about. It's about being there for your child whenever they need you, for any reason. Spending time together. What my father was for me...I want to be that for you. It has nothing to do with spoiling you, or telling you what to do. Since you're an adult, I can't really tell you what to do, anyway. I just want to know you."

Helena studied him then smiled. "Good." she hugged him tightly. "That's all I ever wanted to hear."

Hesitantly, Bruce hugged her back. "I'm glad." He pulled away to look at her. "Remember that you are welcome in my home any time. And don't think that I won't get you things every so often. For instance, I would like to give you a birthday gift, at least, for your most recent birthday."

"that's not till next month." Helena smiled. "See you here for that dad." she hugged him again. "I have to go back out." she kissed his cheek then hugged her mom grabbing the thing she had come for. "What do you think of her?" Lori asked smiling softly.
