"Well...I have extra room in the car." Lori mused wondering briefly how freaked out Bruce would get if he knew she was offering to drive a villains kid home.

"Of course I can but if you murder a plant again...I'll do something unpleasant." Pam smiled sweetly.

April sniffled. "It's not like I meant to. I wanted to take care of them, like you do. But my dad told me the wrong amount of water." She said.

"Don't threaten my child, Pamela." Gemini warned. "She's only five, she doesn't know any better. And she can't be blamed for her father's incompetence." She added, making a mental note to kill Joker later.

Cal sighed. Of course the day would end this way. "Maybe from now on I'll take the bus home..."

Enoch shrugged. "If you don't mind, I'd appreciate it." He said.

"Oh he did." Pamela set her jaw. "He does it to annoy me I know it." She sighed and then smiled at her. "I'll teach you if your mother doesn't mind."

Lori nodded and waited for Martha to say goodbye. "See you tomorrow guys." She hugged Cal then April before getting into her mother's car.

April looked up at her mother with begging eyes.

Gemini smiled, relaxing a bit. "Of course I don't mind. And...I'll talk to their father." She said.

April cheered and then hugged Martha. "See you!" She said.

Cal hugged Martha as well. "See you tomorrow." He repeated with a blush.

Enoch hesitated a moment before following Lori and Martha, clearly shy around the older woman.

"Don't worry this kitties claws have been dull for a while." Lori chuckled.

Pamela and Artemis got into her car and sped off Artemis waving until the car was out of sight.

Enoch nodded, only slightly reassured, and got in the car.

The twins waved from their back seat as well, until Gemini had driven out of sight of the school.

"Here we are...who knew a bad guy lived in a townhouse." Lori sighed a little. "Seems both strange and fine."

Enoch shrugged. "It would be nicer without all the riddle based traps...and the fact that he kinda stole the place." He mumbled the last part as he unbuckled. "Thank you for the ride."

"No problem. Any time you need a ride home just ask." Lori smiled before pulling away Martha waving until the car pulled out of sight.

Cal was the first out of the car when they got home, running inside. "We're home!" He called, laughing as he was instantly greeted by Luce licking his face. "Hey, Luce. Where's dad?"

April bounded in straight after Cal. "Daddy, we're home! And you're in troooouble!" She sang.

"Seems I'm always in trouble." Joker emerged from there room the hyenas at his side.

Martha bounced inside squeezing Ace when he greeted her. "Daddy I'm back." Lori ruffled Aces fur watching Martha look for her father.

Bruce looked up from some paperwork he was doing and smiled. "Welcome home, princess! How was your first day?" He asked, turning so he could talk to her.

Gemini walked in and gave him a glare worthy of Lori. "Our daughter got threatened by Ivy today. Apparently she's been trying to raise plants, but keeps drowning them because somone told her the wrong amount of water." She said crossly.

"But she's gonna teach me how to do it right so I can raise pretty and scary flowers like her." April chirped.

"We also made new friends. Artemis and Enoch are in our class, and we had lunch together. Thanks for the embarrassing prank lunches, by the way. We didn't get to eat cause of that." Cal said, scratching both hyenas behind the ear.

"Oh sure I'm always the bad guy even when I try to be a good father. I'm done trying to please you three." Joker grabbed his bomb kit and marched out. "I'm going to blow something up." He slammed the door. He had been acting off for weeks and it wasn't getting better.

"It was great I got two new friends, April got to meet Ivy and no homework." Martha hugged him. "My new friends are Artemis and Enoch. Mom was even nice enough to give Enoch a ride home. Did you know Riddler lives in a townhouse?" Lori grimaced at her daughters need to tell her father everything.

Cal pouted, looking hurt. "Is dad mad at me?" He asked, sensitive as always.

"No,sweetheart, it's not your fault. Your father has just been in a mood lately." Gemini explained, trying to shield her children from being hurt.

"Will you talk to him?" April asked, getting a nod from her mother.

Bruce raised an eyebrow. "Is that so? Well it was very nice of your mother to give your friend a ride. And I'm glad you made some new friends." He said, giving her a kiss on the head. "Since you don't have homework, why don't you go see Alfred? He made a snack for you."

"Cool! Come on Ace after my snack I'll take you out." Martha hurried off with Ace in toe. Lori looked at Bruce "Are you mad at me?" she asked with a cute pout.

Joker found a large building to blow up not really minding that it was Wayne Tower.

Bruce shook his head. "No, I'm not mad. I'm just concerned. I'm guessing both of the friends she made are villains kids. Is it really safe to have her around them? I mean, they're probably harmless now, but what about in ten years when they choose sides? I don't want her getting hurt." He said. Just then, an explosion rocked the mansion. "Ten bucks says Joker just blew up Wayne Tower." He said, getting up to go put on the suit.

"That was a big one." April said as she ate her snack.

Cal wasn't touching his food. "That had to be the tower. It's the only building big enough to make that kind of sound."

"Let Damien and Tim handle it old man." Lori pulled him back. "We'll deal with them being possible villains when there older for know let them be kids." She kisses his cheek helping as a second explosion knocked her into him.

Bruce caught her quickly, thanking his years of experience for making him able to balance during an explosion. "Alright, alright...I'm just not used to letting someone else handle things." He said, giving up on the argument about Martha's friends for now.

After the second blast, Gemini sighed. "Kids, I'm going to talk with your father. I want you to stay inside and lock the door. Don't open it for anyone, don't answer the phone, and try not to kill each other. I'm trusting you, okay?" She said, getting a solemn nod from both twins. "Lucifer, guard them. You guys, too." She said to the hyenas before leaving.

Joker meanwhile was smirking at the Gotham police force. "You guys really suck." He laughed and threw a Joker gas bomb at there feet. Soon they where laughing themselves to death.

Just as Lori was about to kiss him Martha raced in and hide under her skirt shaking. "Oh my poor baby." Lori hugged Martha while Ace walked in looking annoyed.

Bruce knelt down to comfort Martha, also patting Ace as he did. "Don't worry, princess. Everything will be okay." He said.

Gemini arrived on the scene and sighed. "Really, you'd think they would have learned to wear gas masks by now." She said. "Is there anything you want to talk about, love?"

"Go home." Joker scowled as the cops staggered away. "I'm working." He blocked Nightwing punch with a smirk.

Gemini didn't leave. "You've never let work stop you from talking. Tell me what the problem is." She said, crossing her arms. She wasn't going anywhere until she got some answers. "Hey, Nightwing, hang on a minute, kay? Couples quarrel. You can fight after I find out why he's got a stick up his butt."

"I do not." Joker growled glaring as Nightwing backed off. "I just have work to do." He plastered on a fake smile. "Lord knows that's all I'm good for."

"Now, see, that's what I'm talking about. You're being childish, making comments like that. Actually, you sound like a woman. Now man up and tell me the problem so I can try to help." She said, tapping her shoe on the ground.

Joker's eyes hardened. "Is that right? Well I hope you are pleased with yourself." He turned away. "You can find yourself a husband that you actually want I'll just take the hyena's and leave you three alone like you all want."
