Meanwhile as they drove to the airport Joker dressed as Darien to pick up the kids from school. He leaned against his car watching the students race to there parents or to the bus.

Cal ran outside, racing Enoch to see who could get to a certain tree first. He pulled up short when he saw his father, causing Enoch to bump into him from behind.

Enoch rubbed his forehead. "Hey, what was that for?" He asked, scowling at his friend.

April came up next to them, walking with Martha and Artemis. "Hey, it's dad!" She said, smiling. "I didn't think mom would let him pick us up."

"But it's hard to know who he is when he's dressed up like that. Maybe mom was busy." He pointed out. "Come on guys, we'll introduce you to our dad!"

"Hello duckys." Joker smiled at them. "I'm here to pick you up. Oh Martha your spending a few nights with us." Martha grinned. "Cool."

April ran up and hugged her father's legs. "Hi, daddy!" She said happily.

Cal waved. Martha gets to stay with us? Cool!" He said. "Dad, these are our new friends. This is Enoch, and that's Artemis." He said.

Enoch waved in greeting, feeling a bit awkward.

"Uh yes Riddey and Tree's kids." Joker greeted them. Artemis scowled at Joker knowing be was probably saying the wrong name on purpose.

Enoch rolled his eyes. "Please don't hold my father against me. I didn't choose him." He said.

April giggled. "Poor Enoch got the worst luck in parents." She said.

Cal smiled, but shook his head. "They're our friends, so be nice okay? We're in a club."

"Alright I'll play nice." Joker smiled at Cal. "A club how nice." He opened the back door. "Come on say goodbye moms waiting."

"Okay. See you guys tomorrow." Cal said, waving at his friends. "Here Martha, you get in first."

April went and hugged both Artemis and then Enoch. "See you. This weekend we're gonna try to play together, right?"

Enoch coughed slightly, hiding a tiny blush. "Yeah. I'm free, anyway." He said.

Martha slid in waving goodbye. Artemis grinned "you know all you have to do is come to moms park and I'll be free."

"Will your mom let us come there? We're boys..." Cal gestured to Enoch and himself.

Enoch shuddered. "Yeah, I really don't want to be eaten by a plant. But I trust you, so..."

"We'll work it out. We all have each other's numbers, so we'll talk and figure something out." April said before sliding into the car beside Martha.

Artemis hurried of towards the park laughing softly. "Where are mama and papa?" Martha asked. Joker shrugged "didn't ask."

Meanwhile Lori was excited to see where they were.

Enoch started off on his long walk home.

"Isn't it their anniversary?" Cal pointed out as he strapped himself in.

April nodded. "That's right. They probably went somewhere special."

Bruce had kept quiet about where they were going all throughout the plane ride, refusing to give even a hint. When the plane touched down, Bruce insisted on blindfolding Lori and leading her out. Once they were standing on land, he took the blindfold off to reveal that they were in Japan. "Surprise."

Lori's eyes widened and her mouth formed a small o. "It's more beautiful than I thought it would be." She turned to grin at him. "How did you know I wanted to go here? If you had said something I would have learned Japanese. I can't wait to see everything." She gushed looking like a child on Christmas.

"Oh yeah." Martha crinkled her nose. "There probably going to get all kissy and gross."

Bruce smiled widely. "Let's just say I pay attention to my wife. We'll have plenty of time to see everything you want, but let's check into the hotel first. We're staying in an old fashioned inn attached to a hot spring, up in the mountains." He said.

April made a face. "I don't get how parents can be so gross like that." She said.

Cal nodded. "Mom says it's not gross when you love someone, but I don't understand it." He said.

"You'll understand when your older." Joker smiled thinking about Gemini made him feel warm. Before her the only time he felt like that was when he was beating someone up.

"I can't wait." Lori flagged down a cab and hopped in. "Hurry Bruce."

April snorted. "I bet I won't." She said.

Cal shrugged. "Okay, if you say so." He said, glancing at Martha.

Bruce grabbed their luggage and followed Lori, happy that she was so happy.

Martha jumped out as soon as the car started. "Puppies!" she called. Both Hyena's hid behind Gemini as Martha hurried in grinning. "I won't hurt you." she pouted.

Lori checked them in and whisked the luggage to there room before whisking back out with him in tow.

Gemini looked up and chuckled. "Now, don't be such babies. Look, Lucifer's not scared." As she spoke, Lucifer ran up to Martha and started licking her face, tail wagging happily. "Nice to see you, Martha. Come on in, I just finished making cookies for you three."

Cal walked in and smiled, going over to pet Lucifer. "Someone's happy to see you, Martha." He said.

April, on the other hand, went straight for the hyenas to comfort them. "It's okay, it's just Martha. She won't hurt you. And I'll protect you." She said.

They grumbled and came out greeting Martha as well.

Lori dragged Bruce around till he couldn't feel his feet. She was currently eyeing a fancy necklace her fingers itching to steal it.

Bruce saw exactly what Lori was thinking, and dragged her away from the display. "Absolutely not! Not on our anniversary, and not here in another country. Please?" He all but begged. "If you want the necklace, I'll buy it for you. But no stealing."

Gemini smiled and went to give Joker a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks for picking the kids up."

"It was my pleasure love. See I told you someone without a license could drive and not get pulled over." Joker laughed watch the kids play with the animals.

"Fine." Lori pouted a little. "I won't steal anything...maybe I'll grab it before we go home it won't be are anniversary then." She nodded feeling guilty when he gave her a look. "Alright, alright...buy it for me then." She sighed that was the bad part about being married she couldn't steal like she wanted to.

Gemini laughed. "Oh, I knew that. As long as you don't drive like Lori, you won't get pulled over in this city." She said.

Once they had greeted the pets, Cal stood and went to start his homework. "I'm gonna get this done so I'll have the rest of the weekend free." He said.

April sighed. "Yeah...I guess you're right..." She said.

Bruce nodded. "Try to understand, Lori. We've well known people even here. Any kind of misdemeanor would cause an international incident. The last thing we need is to make Japan angry at us." He said, feeling bad that he killed her fun.

"It's not like I would get caught." Lori sighed then smirked. "they only one's who's ever done that is you." she poked his chest. "Know go buy it or I might just steal it." she grinned.

"Lets so this." Martha grinned and began to work on her homework.

"Is here driving really that bad?" Joker blinked.

Bruce raised his hands in defeat and laughed. "Alright, alright. Flattery wins again." He said, going to buy what she wanted.

Gemini shivered, suddenly looking traumatized. "Let's just put it this way: if Bruce had ever managed to fully capture you, the worst punishment would have been to stick you in a police car with Lori." She told him.

"I think it sounds fun." Joker shrugged. "But if you say she's that bad I'll believe you."

Lori grinned and stuck to him like glue. "Thank you love." She took his hand ignoring the stares.
