"I think she should find a new mate." Zaibu said as she leaves. If he ever sees that mate of hers he will be dead by his own hand. He pulls Tenshi close and kisses him. "That was a very sweet gift. Thank you for that." He can't believe it. He thought he had already fallen deep in love with Tenshi. But this small act had made him fall in love even more.

Tenshi smiled lightly, "She deserved it, besides, I probably would have kept it otherwise. He said and shrugged lightly, wrapping his arms around Zaibu tightly. He buried his face into the Naga's neck and smiled.

Zaibu stroked the egg that was sitting on Tenshi's lap. He shook a bit. He wasn't cut out for shit like this. Akasha slithered up and wrapped herself around the egg her tongue flicking out. She could sense Zaibu's unease. Zaibu stroked her head.

Tenshi placed a hand on the Naga's and smiled lightly at him. "What is the matter Zaibu?" The artist asked as he allowed his other hand to stroke along Akasha's back happily. He rather liked the idea of being able to help raise a Naga, and it was at times like this that he wished he could see, he could tell by touch that the egg shell was rather thick, but he would still be sure to take very special care of it, there was a child within it after all.

"I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed is all." He said laying his head on Tenshi's shoulder. "I'm going to be an uncle." He whispers in awe. "I'm going to be an uncle." He says again hardly believing it. "I just wish my sister would leave her mate. She deserves so much better. I've always thought so. I knew he was bad news when she first met him." He lets out a sigh.

"There are lots of reasons why she would perhaps not want to leave him, I am not her, so I do not know." Tenshi blushed brightly, "This is actually the first serious relationship that I have ever had." He murmured softly and tilted his head to lean against Zaibu's.

"Me too." Zaibu said with a small smile. "Though I'm surprised father sent her here with the egg." He said honestly. He stroked the egg softly. He was still trying to wrap his mind around the fact he was going to be an uncle. "I mean father and I didn't part on the best of terms the last time I had gone home." He let out a sigh.

Tenshi shrugged lightly, "I do not know about your kind, but I would think he still loves you, however with your involvement with me...He would not want to look weak to others would he?" Tenshi gave another shrug, "Perhapes he know you can protect it, it will be one of his grand children after all." The artist murmured, "Now...we just need a good spot for it, maybe near one of the vents? They are warm after all with kiln running."

"That's what I was thinking. I am sure it stays warm even when your kiln isn't running." He was silent for a moment. "Though it would probably be to hot to put it right near the kiln." He stood as he spoke. He gently took the egg and went and fond a nice warm vent to put it next to. Akasha wrapped her self around the egg and Zaibu stroked her gently with a smile.

Tenshi nodded and made sure the egg was in a nest of blankets. "Alright well...I guess we wait for it to hatch, and do some house hunting." He said softly, crossing his arms over his chest and holding onto his upper arms.

Zaibu returned to his human form. He went and hugged Tenshi close. "I love you so much. You never cease to amaze me." He was so proud of this man. This man that he loved with all his heart. "There aren't many people who would be so accepting of all of this." He meant him, Kliene, and now the egg.

Tenshi shrugged lightly, his cheeks turning a light pink. "I am honestly still expecting to wake up." Tenshi murmured lightly and moved to cling to Zaibu, he did not wish for this to be just a dream.

Zaibu pulled Tenshi close his hands stroking his sides. "I love you with all that I am. All that I will be. I'm yours body and soul." He kissed Tenshi's neck nibbling a bit. He massaged Tenshi's butt.

Tenshi blushed as he tilted his head to the side, giving a rather undignified yelp as Zaibu grasped his rear.

Zaibu threw his head back and laughed at Tenshi's yelp. "I don't know what I would do if I ever lost you." Zaibu said. He did wonder when Kliene would return from his hunt. His own was fast approaching and he didn't want to leave Tenshi alone. Especially now that they had the egg to protect. He wanted either himself or Kliene here at all times.

The back door opened and shut, Kliene came back, whistling as he entered the kitchen. "Got some rabbits!" He said proudly, holding up the pair of fat rabbits. He then noticed the egg on the grate and stopped. Hey...who had an egg?" He asked and took a step back, he knew nesting Nagas to be vicious.

"My sister, she had had three. But her mate destroyed two of them as he didn't want children right now." Zaibu took a deep breath. "Father had her bring the egg here. For me to take care of. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact I'm going to be uncle." He broke out into a smile at this. He was going to be an uncle and despite the circumstances he was so happy.

"Congratulations...when it hatches it will imprint on who it see's first as it's mother...Hey Zaibu, help me gut and skin these?" He asked holding out the pair of rabbits again. Kliene grinned at the pair, he felt these two would be great parents.

"I just hope my sister is here when it hatches." Zaibu said going and starting to help clean the rabbits. He really hoped his sister would be here when the egg hatched. She deserved to be a mother. Though if it came down to it he would be the babies mother. He just hoped he wouldn't have to.

Tenshi sat at the table in the kitchen as the two Naga cleaned the rabbits, "What happens if I am the first one it see's?" He asked and turned to face the pair, his head tilted to the side a bit as he thought.

"You know I'm not exactly sure." Zaibu said. He had never thought about if a just hatched naga would imprint on a human or not. It had never been an issue to this point. "Do you know Kliene?" He asked as he started making a rabbit stew for dinner.

Kliene opened his mouth as if to say something then shut it and frowned. He thought for a moment and shrugged, "Nope, not a clue." He smiled and finished his rabbit before cleaning up. The skins could be used and he would set those aside. Rabbits were his favorite, o he was bound to get more.

"It will be interesting to see what plays out." Zaibu says cutting up veggies for the stew. "Though I do hope she'll make it back in time. "I might see if I can bring home a deer when I go out for my hunt in a couple of days. I could freeze it up." He smiles glad to be able to provide food for his family.

Tenshi nodded lightly as Kliene set up the rabbit skins to cure before moving to sit in Tenshi's lap, curling up happily in the artist's lap.

Zaibu smiled watching the two of them. This was his family. It was small, and not at all traditional, but it was his. He set the soup to simmer and started working on rolls to go with the stew. "It's funny." He said to nobody in particular.
