So I'm on my 3rd scan now and can't seem to remove it. I'm not sure which site I got this from. I haven't dled anything recently.

Mene looks like a community newspaper to me right now. So many useless ads I'll never care to use. I wonder if any of these companies ever take into mind the begrudged internet user. A lot of the things being advertised I'll never use because of where/how they're advertised.

It's not like they're unheard of products either. Different car companies, Vitamin brands I know, tax programs. All of them I'm never going to want. XD

What's a good malware removal program?

The best way I've found for me to remove these stubborn malwares (because they're usually irremovable through scanners) is to remove them manually. DIG for them in your folders and force delete them for good. If they're not allowing you to do so (another program is using them blahblah), I'd suggest remembering the location of the malware and going into safe mode to remove them.

Found some. Firefox is ok now. But Chrome is still messed up. Not sure where else things could be hiding. >.<

Yay for malware-free Firefox! \o/

If you know what the names of the malwares are, you can possibly google them on how to remove them. The same thing happened to the Chrome on my brother's laptop. He didn't even realise it was a malware until the day he asked me to help him with something and I opened the browser.

How you going with this Nephy? I always found Malwarebytes to be very good at protecting me.

Make sure to boot into safe mode if you're on Windows to make sure the malware can't infect anything and you can perform a scan.

Also, what Jelly said, use Malwarebytes. Has helped me in the past on many occasions when it comes to evil malware.

If it's forcing you to have ads, you can always try AdBlockPlus so they'll be there but Adblock will remove them from being shown.
