Grapefruit Wannabe: I decided I would detail the origin of the Siege of Drachenfells. It shall begin when my character met you :D

Grape had finished carrying the last body into the grave. Covering it with dirt, she placed a lotus flower on Each Grave mound, a peace-offering to those in the afterlife. It took her all her might not to cry, she had to speak the blessings in a clear voice. She knelt down to a Statue of Ankou, the Shepard of Lost Souls.

"Lord Ankou, Shepard of the After-life, I pray to you, guide the Souls of the fallen to paradise. May they know no-more pain, and no-more suffering..."Grape began to break up at this, and tears began falling from her face, sinking into the ground. "..a-and when my time comes as well....may I see them again....."She collapsed on the ground at this, grounding her teeth.

"Instead of crying over them, why not take action?"

Grape spun around at this, looking for the Mysterious voice. She saw a Golden Clad man, armed like a soldier, but alone. She had not seen this man before, and knew he wasn't a member of her village.

"Who are you?! What do you want?!"Grape demanded, wiping her face with her sleeve.

"Just a Traveler. I'm heading towards Drachenfells, to the east. "He said, looking around the village ruins. "I assume that this is your home?"The Mysterious Stranger asked.

"It was my home.....Dragons attacked..."She said, looking at the Grave mounds.

"If there is nothing left for you here, why not come with me?"He asked.

Grape looks towards to the man, gauging if he was serious. When she saw he was, her look turned to puzzlement. "What do you want, Stranger?"She asked.

The Man knelt down next to her. "I'm assembling a group of people. I've sent notices out to every port, and every city. I'm gathering as many people as I can, because I intend to take Castle rogue, in the Drachenfells mountain."He said to her.

Grape started at the man was if he was crazy. "That's insane, you'd all get killed! I will not walk blindly on a suicide mission!"She said.

"No trouble, it was only a request. "He said, standing up. "I must take my leave now, I have alot of ground to cover. Farewell. "he said, taking the path, and walking out of the village.

Grape stared after the man, then rose up, and headed for her fathers smithy. Outside, she saw the prints of the dragon that had attacked her home. Regret flowed through her, but so did an intense anger. She had lost 'everything' to this dragon, it was all stolen from her....

'What if that dragon is at the Castle?'Grape thought to herself.

With a new found sense of purpose, Grape picked up all the tools of her father, and every bit of Steel she could get her hands on. She then began hammering onto the Steel, with the care of a master. While the metal was still hot, she scratched on the initials of her fellow villagers, a last reminder of them. Raising the Hammer in Daylight, it gleamed like a Gem. It was finished.

Grape then began looking through the house, for anything she could use. She found some jewelery she could pawn, but she also found a Set of Studded armor. It was her mothers, who used to be a Mercenary. Slipping on the armor, She raced out of the village, following the tracks of the man. She found him waiting next to a tree, not far from the village road.

"I knew you'd follow me eventually. "The stranger said, eying the war-hammer. "Nice weapon and armor."he said.

"It's the last thing I have from my village. It's how I'll remember them. When It crushes it's first dragons skull, it will be the souls of my family and friends, sending them to the after-life. "Grape said, slipping her armor onto her back. "If I'm going to be traveling with you, I might want to know you name."she said.

The man smiled, and began walking with her. He didn't speak for a second, then held out his hand. "My name is Andraus..."

Back at the Village, a curious mage was bowing at the graves. She then saw the foot-prints out of the Village, leading to the road. 'Someone must've survived!' she thought. She then picked up her things, and began following the tracks.

Teenage letter to Times

sadly, I have to say this is kinda true. I made it a personal point to prove wrong every adult I came across, whenever they made a mistake e.e I don't like arrogance, and I don't like people automatically demanding respect. I have a younger cousin, whose better than me in every way, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. She's going to go far, and I wish her the best of luck.

Not all teenagers are like that. Hell, not even half are like that anymore.

Yeah that is true. I've had my fair share of hauty adults. Mostly teachers who thought they were God's gift to earth. But, I was a bit more passive about it. I just didn't give them the time of day, concentrated on my own work and passe those subjects well. I hate people who judge before they understaand. I think that's the main problem. That and people too full of themselves.

That sad thing is, potatoe, that our generation is going to be the one to clean up their mess.

Every time I see the title to this thread I'm reminded of the first Anne McCaffrey book I read. *lies on the floor* I wish I had a copy of it, but I've no idea where to get the book of short stories.

That was a pretty cool story. Unfortunately I don't have a character that's really shaped personalitywise so I can't really do much... maybe in time I can join later
