Kenome was on the ground, her wings to her side, trying to cover up the fresh sword wound. She was standing in front of her Dragon's hoard, and holding her pearl in her hand. Half of her scales were either gone or cracked. She was glaring at the man in front of her, steam coming from her nostrils.

"I knew that, after they came, someone would fight their way in here......looking to come after my pearl!"She said, standing. "I should have never trusted them.....I should've erased their memories of this place while I had the chance."

The man in front of her, his body in the dark, made something between a laugh and a huff. "I'm not exactly sure who you're talking about. No-one lead me here....."The man approached the Dragon. "I knew about this place, for a long time.....sorry, but that Pearl is coming with me. "he said.

Kenome tried to stand, but couldn't bring herself to do it. Then darkness fell. The man picked up the pearl, gazing at it's Lustrous glow. "I found one......a Dragon's pearl! "He said, holding it up to his face. "But.....this is only the first of many....
