Lucivar grinned a bit and took her downstairs to the main convention hall. He knew there would be a table set aside with her name on it, just like there was every year that they registered.

"It took you six months to really be okay with Kaelas," Heather pointed out. "And he's not even human."

Lily let him take the lead and find their table, and she settled in for a while to just watch things.

"Exactly, he's not human, he doesn't operate under the same rules," Daemon said. "Besides, he's not exactly versed in manners apart from general in-house rules."

Lucivar stood next to her once she sat down, as both a beacon and a subtle warning to everyone around them: the males he chose were allowed to approach, but everyone else should be wary about doing so.

"Kaelas is just a bit softie," Heather said. She grinned. "And he's a cat, you can't honestly expect him to get exactly why humans put so much weight on manners."

"I don't, but the fact remains that he is a cat and so is more difficult to deal with than many males are." And yes, it had taken quite a while for him and Kaelas to come to an agreement.

Heather couldn't help but grin.

"Just admit it, you don't like sharing much," she teased.

"I don't like sharing much with giant cats," Daemon said with another indignant sniff, although his eyes glinted with humor he knew Heather would catch.

Heather couldn't help but laugh a bit and let him lead her downstairs to the convention room. It was time to get the interviews rolling.

Daemon led her to her table, which was, as usual, right next to Lily's. He also stood next to her chair, just letting her survey the convention for a bit.

Lily grinned a bit and wasn't surprised when no one showed up immediately. She figured it would take a bit of time.

It didn't take too long for someone to show up, though. Clint made his way over to Lily's table once he spotted Lucivar.

"I take it you're the one I'm here to see," he said when he saw Lily.

"Sounds about right." Lily smiled and stood. "I'm Lily. I know you met Lucivar yesterday. It's nice to meet you."

Tony spotted Clint talking to Lily and grinned slowly. Well, time to see if the lady was really willing to put up with everything and everyone that came with Hawkeye.

"Clint Barton," Clint replied, grinning a bit. "I take it you're the one I have to impress?"

"Or at least get along with decently well," Lily said with a bit of a grin. "Lucivar already likes you, so points in your favor."

"Awesome," Clint said, grinning. "Well, there's not much more to tell about me than what I told him. I'm not a real complicated guy. Low maintenance. Grew up around animals."

"That's good," Lily said with a grin. "I've got two in house, a tiger and a wolf. They're both nice, they won't try to eat you or anything, I promise."

Clint raised an eyebrow.

"A little exotic for around here," he commented.

"Yeah, I know. You'll understand better once you meet them." Lily shrugged, and blinked when she noticed someone else headed over.

Tony grinned as he threw an arm around Clint's shoulders. "So you're the poor soul thinking of adopting a hawk," he said with a shit-eating grin. "He'll make nests all over the place and take over your vents."

"Tony, what the hell?" Clint said, ducking out from under Tony's arm. "Get lost, I'm interviewing, here."

"I know, I'm helping." Tony grinned.

Lily blinked before she started laughing at them.

"See? Helping. I am helpful. Why do people always think that I'm not?" Tony grinned and looked at Lily. "He is housetrained, by the way, and free to a good home."

"Jesus, Tony, go away or I'll shoot you with the Nerf guns between the eyes so many times the welt will be there for a week," Clint retorted.

"No you won't," Tony sing-songed as he moved away, grinning. Mission accomplished.

Lily was still laughing too hard to actually speak. Especially at the Nerf threat.

"Watch me," Clint called after him. Rolling his eyes, he turned back to Lily. "Sorry about him."

"It's fine," Lily said, waving a hand and wiping her eyes. "Oh, that was fun. You even know how to banter, this is good."

"I promise, we are definitely NOT a package deal," Clint said. "I think he's got an interview somewhere else."

"I don't mind, really," Lily said. "That was highly entertaining." She grinned. "Plus I know that you can quip and banter, those are always good things, so it turned out fine for you."

"So that's a 'yes'?" Clint asked, a bit of a hopeful gleam in his eye. It really would be nice to be around a woman who wasn't Natasha. He liked Nat, he really did, but she could be intense sometimes, and he wanted someone a bit... softer.
