Hello all my name is Xio and I joined this site like...4 hours ago I think? I'm 26 years old, British girl and I love a good laugh. I love avatar sites and anything to do with Japan. It's an addiction I swear.
Anyway, how is everyone's Tuesday?

Hello =3 So nice when people say they love avatar sites :D They seem to be kind of out of fashion now D: Sexy hair colour that you've got there, did you enjoy playing with the colour wheel? It's our pride and joy, that is.

Haha I did actually! Spent a good 10 minutes or so just trying out the colours!
Avatar sites are so much fun, hopefully they never die out

Thanks so much! I'm really happy to have found this site! Everyone seems to friendly already!
Hahahaha!!! I think I'll stick to this being a friendly avatar site. I'm not really a dating site kind of girl...for the 'singles may not be sexy' reason

I completely skipped over the British bit, how did I miss that! Distracted by Howdy telling big fat lies about us, maybe.
Another point for Team UK then!

Omfg no way!!! That's amazing! We've probably crossed paths or something
Well I went from Bournemouth to London for 3 years and then moved here ( parents are originally from here ).
Haha sure we can swap! I kinda miss my dark snowy nights and Channel E4

Where did you live in Bournemouth? Me and my Mum lived in Wallisdown for the most part, so did my nan and grandad on my dad's side, mum's mum lived in Northbourne. My step-mum lives in Parkstone now, my dad in Ferndown, my aunt and uncle in Throop. Family all over the town.
It's cute how excited you get when you run into someone with a connection to you, no matter how tenuous xD You planning on staying in Bermuda then? Moving there from here must have seemed unbelievably different. But maybe also kind of like going on holiday and just not coming home again...I could get behind that! lol

It wasn't that huge of a shock. We visited almost every year to see my other relatives so I already had a set group of people that I knew and family...but it is like a permanent holiday but it gets so hot sometimes. I know, what a weird thing to complain about after negative degree winters and freak hailstorms in the summer months. I'm sure Lincolnshire is not that bad
Wallisdown eh? I lived in Boscombe. Somewhat close but I doubt we've crossed paths unless you came to the pier here. I pretty much lived there xD
In London I lived in Wood Green and Walthamstow.

Lol Boscombe, now there's a thing, my mum used to be (not quite so bad now) a dreadful snob, and she had some serious hate on for Boscombe, for no fathomable reason. She'd never go there shopping, and would always be all "huh, Boscombe *sniffs*" if anyone mentioned it. My grandad took me shopping there once and I knew exactly what her reaction would be when she asked where we'd been. People are so weird xD
Permanent heat's hard to acclimatise to when you're used to those summer hail storms etc. though, lol. Though I'll admit, I'd give it my best effort given half a chance. Lincolnshire's ok, but it's dead flat, being a Bournemouth girl I'm used to some substantial hills. In the winter the landscape here depresses the hell out of me, particularly if there's snow on the ground, it's so bleak. But you always miss something just because you can't have it, don't you? Typical human orneriness. ><

Aww tell your mum that not all of us are bad! Some people are like that, having hate for areas for no reason. My gran HATES Birmingham for no reason. Like, don't even bring it up that you're going there for the weekend or something. She'll go on a rampage about why would you want to go to such a horrible area....blah blah...! Oh, and don't mention Primark to her either, goodness knows why.
Ahh flatness. I was like that when I moved to London, missing my seaside and hills. Winter was just blah...like what am I supposed to take pics of? Snow on people's car? You never know what you've got till it's gone!

I might ask my mum about her unreasonable Boscombe hate, but I know what she'd say, she'd be all, "I never said anything like that!" Yeah right mum! xD
