Joseph looked at the girl, and tried to say sorry with his face. He wasn't a fan of arranged marriages, and he doubted the girl was as well. His mind went to Bell, but he stepped forward. He knew being a good king, meant you had to sacrifice. Though he prayed to Ava his fate would change, he knelt before the grand priest, his eyes closed.

"Do you Andraus promise to be just and rule with honor? Do you promise to make good laws ands to up hold the laws that your ancestors passed on to us?" The priest asked.

"I swear by my blood, and the blood of my children, I will rule justly and honorable, and will upheld the laws that were made by my predecessors."he said

"Do you swear to bring no harm to any child or woman even if they are not from your kingdom? Do you swear to uphold the peace with other kingdom unless war is needed?" The priest continued with a smile.

"I will not harm the innocent, but I will show no mercy to the guilty."he swore.

"You have heard the promises of you heir do you accept him as your king?" The priest turned to the people who accepted him in one loud voice. "The as the only other member of the royal family Lady Adella come forward." Adella cam forward "In the name of the Gods and Goddesses I name you King." As the priest finished the sentence Adelle placed the crown on his head. "Long like the king!" he called and the crowd copied him.

Joseph waved to the people. He then stood on the edge. "Over the last 17 years, the people of this once strong country have subjugated, robbed of their land, their family, and their peaceful lives. I swear to you, as long as I live, I will work to restore our home to its former glory. I ask that all of you, be patient in this endeavor, and give me your support. "He said. "My first act as king, is to ask for any abled man and woman, to sign on with the military. The Orcs to the south will not assault us any longer."he said

"That can come later." The priest summoned the young princess forward. "Rose Princess of Yurio you are here to wed are king Step forward and take your future husbands hands." the girl took his hands.

Joseph took her hand. Even though his mind still was on Bell, he would do the right thing, even if it meant sacrificing his wants.

"Do you swear to love and to have this man? To never betray or harm him? Do you promise to up hol the laws of this country? To keep in touch with yours so we have a ally? To bear the kingdom an heir?" The princess swallowed "I swear." She smiled nervously at him.

Joseph looked towards her. He knew she probably didnt want this. He didnt even know her! But he was an honorable man, and would make her an honorable woman. "I swear."

"Then I know pronounce you husband and wife." the priest smiled. "Greet your queen." he placed a silver tiara on Rose's head.

Joseph Luthais took Rose of Yurio's face, and whispered. "I will spend my days learning more about you, and making you happy." He said, and kissed her

Rose kissed back then pulled away. "Let's celebrate." Adelle shouted and the crowd roared in agreement herding the new couple to the great hall where the feast was set up. In one corner was the musicians and guards lined the wall watching everything with a careful eye.

Joseph sat himself down, staring at all the merryment. He realized, then and there, that this was what he was fighting to protect.

London presented a present to the princess. "From my princess." he smiled then turned to go. "We must go know so we can return to the kingdom before dark. The princess is packing." he added with a shrug.

"Send my regards to bell."he said. He didn't think it was right to see her.

"As you wish." Erik bowed and left to go pack.

Joseph sat next to his new wife. He honestly didn't know how to speak to her. "I'm....Joseph Luthais. Tell me about yourself. "He said.

"Well as you know I am Rose the princess Yurio. I love reading and knitting. I love everything to do with knitting, croutching, and embroidering." Rose blushed a little.

"The woman in my village would embroid different things in fabric: the battles we fought, the old child tales. They also had special dyes for different colors. I could get you some."he said

"Oh yes please." Rose blushed more at her excited outburst. "Forgive me that was most unladylike."

"I couldn't tell."he said. "I've been a commoner, I have learned how to do honest work, and how the common people go about their lives. What you did was perfectly normal to me. "He said. "No need to act so formal."he said

"What?" Rose blinked then frowned. "As you wish." she sipped her wine slowly eating carefully.

"It's no 'as I wish' just be yourself."he said
