Marisa stopped her barrage, moving her wand in front of her. She laid her trap, before launching herself back with a glyph. The ground that she trapped erupted in fire pillars. As she landed, She produced a few glyphs around her, launching a burst of wind at Amaya, also causing the fire pillars to get hit and whip around. She instantly focused on another glyph, feeling the strain already of amount of pressure she was putting on Amaya. 'Come on, push yourself!'

Amaya could feel the heat around her and started to panic as she was mentally sent to the past during The Incident, not even thinking about activating her semblance to get away from the flames. "No, not again," she muttered, unable to think of any way out in her hysterics.

"Come on Amaya, you can do this!" Raven shouted, giving her love words of encouragement as she cheered her on. Seeing the trap being sprung, the wolf Faunus was worried for her teammate and partner. She could see that Amaya was starting to go into shock. It wasn't the fire that she was afraid of...but being trapped within an area that was on fire that was triggering the event.

Marisa noticed the duress of what was going on and called down rain using a mix of dust. She used her glyphs to rush over to Amaya. "A-are you okay?!" She let out, realizing what started as display of technique and skill on both of their parts turned into something worse. "Come on, Snap out of it."

Raven instantly rushed towards Amaya's side. "Maya, it's me Raven," she said, hoping her voice would penetrate the panic that Amaya was in. Seeing that it wasn't working, she hugged her, hoping that would work, but wasn't sure.

"I-I'm sorry, I had no idea this was going to happen." Marisa let out, looking rather scared over the situation.

"It's okay, you didn't know," Raven said as she could feel Amaya starting to calm down.

"What happened to her... to cause this?" Marisa hoped she wasn't in the wrong to ask.

"At a young age, her parents were the victims of a White Fang attack. I don't know exactly what happened, but she was trapped in her house as it burned down with her inside. She was only able to survive due to activating her Semblance. We didn't think anything of it since she's never shown anything like this before," Raven replied as she answered the question that Marisa asked.

"I... I see... It must of been horrible..." Marisa looked away, gripping her arm.

"I wouldn't know..." Raven admitted as she felt Amaya starting to come around. "Morning sleeping beauty. Have a nice nap?" she asked

"H-Hey... I'm sorry, I didn't... know." Marisa repeated, feeling horrible about the entire ordeal.

"What happened?" Amaya asked as a light blush appeared on her cheeks, noticing that she was being held by her girlfriend.

"You had a breakdown during your spar. Bad memories must of come to light..." Raven said with a sad look on her face. She had no problem with holding Amaya like this. "Don't worry, I'm here for you." She gave a soft smile

"T-thank you," Amaya said as her blush intensified. She was, however, glad that Raven was okay with holding her like this before turning towards Marisa and apologizing for having a breakdown like that.

"W-why are you sorry, I was the one that caused it." Marisa let out.

"You two need to be careful or people may start talking." Reimu added as she approached as she looked at Amaya and Raven.

"Let them talk, It wouldn't be a lie."

"Raven's telling the truth, we're a couple. And I should have known I would have reacted like that," Amaya replied to both girls.

"Amaya... I want you to sit the rest of this out. I think you should rest after that." It was clear by her tone that she wasn't going to take no for an answer.

Amaya was about to say that she could handle the rest of the battles but seeing Raven stare at her, along with the tone of voice she gave made her nod in agreement. "Can I at least watch with my Semblance?" she asked, hoping for a compromise from her girlfriend.

"Why with your semblance?" Raven looked confused, "You can watch over with the rest."

"Oh...right," Amaya said, thinking that she didn't want her getting hurt anymore than she already had.

"You are alright... I understand." Raven said with a laugh, "Come on, I don't think we can be like this all day."

"Aw...but I like being in your arms like this," Amaya teased.

"I know you do, but we can save it for later." Raven whispered, before looking to Reimu. "How about a three vs one? You, Sanae and June, against me."

"Alright," Amaya responded in a light whisper before Raven let her go and moved to where Amy was sitting at, still honestly surprised that she had had a flashback like that. "I have to work on that," she muttered as she got comfortable, ready to watch Raven kick ass, even if the other two members of Team SMER were looking at Raven as if she grew a tail to go along with her wolf ears.

"You are crazy! Three against you... You don't even know how we fight!" Reimu let out shocked.

"I think I can manage. Besides, I always love a challenge."
