I don't know if I even use Gillette. I just went with a random company that wasn't a website builder. I was going to use GoDaddy, but went with Gillette. xDD

I feel like people need to be willing to compromise. Ads = Mene survives and thrives. No ads = Mene shuts down by the end of the year. XD Not exactly saying that's true, just making a point. I like Mene without ads. But I like it when there are people to talk to and things to do even more.

Why would menewsha shut down by the end of the year?

And if anyone ever needs help with website things like domain hosting and finding good deals on web hosting and stuff like that I'm always willing to help. I've built and owned dozens of different websites and I've got a lot of experience dealing with it.

Yeah, definitely hypothetical. I've seen it happen to at least two sites similar to these in the last year alone. When people lose interest and the site is spending more than it's making, it shuts down. Not saying that Mene will for sure, but boyhowdee has this place turned into boresville. And I know they've been in the red as far as money goes. And the less interest people have, and the less active this place is, the more in the red they'll be.

I personally found a different site with better avatars and loads of events going on constantly. There's so much to do there at any given time that it's impossible to be bored, and there's always loads of people online. It's too bad Mene can't take a few ideas from them. But don't ask me which site, unless you PM me about it, lest I be banned for talking about another site I like. *rolls eyes* You also don't get banned there for stupid stuff, and you can have as many mule accounts as you can keep up with. The items are customizable, the profiles are adorbs. I keep wanting to poke at the Mene mods and be like... steaaallll ideas, dooo ittttt. Lol but then I'd probably be called names by the mods again. I wish there was something I could do to help, but they don't like me here. *shrugs*

That site sounds like one's first impression of Gaia.

Every site is flawed in it's own way.
I always think there is no perfect site.
To me if there was it would be rather scary.

I am not really active on here because i just do not love menewsha as much as I use to i suppose? And my threads are always dying. I get so lazy with reviving them.

Though I like how colorful the CI"s so I am only here for CI's and common items and for one day to be able to access the DAC. XD

Menewsha is at least in the five but only for the large amount of commons and variation of CI's.
The events I always avoid because they aren't as fun as they use to be.
My favorite which is number 1 is syndroneonline.
Yeah they've had drama and basically a cyberbully who harassed and trolled people and got robbed by one of their staff members i think but it actually only took me 1 year to win AOTW compared on here which took me like...6 years. e. e

My second would be recolor.me because i get decent rp partners on there who actually write.

AOTW is Avatar Of the week. On syndrone I won with my mecha character.
And I love mecha. So It was a well deserved avatar.

I like the multi items here because you only need one and you can equip all of its different things at once.

I'm tempted to join Sapherna but only because Melody's there sometimes. They're kind of slow and clunky but some of the avis look kind of cool.

I don't like Gaia. But everyone knows already I think. Vera hates it like it's the worst thing ever. She had it worse than I did there I think.

If someone told me about another cool site I'd at least look at it and see. I'm just kind of picky. I like this place because it's not got a million buttheads on it and I have friends here. I don't even mind if it's slow sometimes. Amane and I can usually keep it going if nobody else can.

Hmm, maybe I'll check it out. I find 1x1 plays easier, and more interesting, and they last forever. But there's just something about a bunch of random characters brought together in an exciting story that draws me to group plays. I just haven't had a really good one in ages.

And I feel you on the avatar thing. I've had some amazing avatars here that were never recognized, and then some people are continuously chosen for avatars that I think are just not very good at all. It is what it is.

My new site's avatars just totally captivate me. They don't have the oversized Mene heads, and they have long legs and just the most beautiful hairs and clothes. Gah the clothes are awesome. At first I felt like everything was WAY too expensive, but it turned out that you also make a lot for posts, and the games are super easy and you win a lot with them and can play them for gold every two hours. Not to mention, I've been given 95% of my items because everyone there is just amazeballs. I just love that there's always fun stuff to do and ways to win items. The role-players there are super good, too.

It. Kills. Me. That Mene used to be that for me, but now it's like a ghost town when I log on. *waits patiently for Mene to revive*

Multi items are a divine gift.

I hate doing groups.
they always want me to play my characters how they want me to and basically make me feel stupid.

So I much rather one on ones and I can add as many characters as I want for those.

On roliana i actually won twice.
I think one of the times I won avatar of the month.
Though i didn't actually know one of the times i won avatar of the week due to hiatus. XDD

Eh. Oh well. I only won for my thanksgiving/fall themed avatar.
They seem to prefer themes more than color coordination. And I don't do themes. I rarely do themes.

Honestly I do not care what the base looks like.
If they have good amount of items and i like the items then i am all set.

Ew, no I don't like group plays like that. I always create groups, never join them. I would never ask anyone to play a specific character or a certain way. I have rules and guidelines, but those are set before anyone ever joins. I simply ask that everyone creates a diverse character, unlike the other characters already in a play because it KILLS MY SOUL when you have five players, all of whom are shy and don't like strangers. *rolls eyes* How boring is that? I HATE THAT. *burns all role-plays with those characters*

on writing romance, action too sometimes even.

Yes, that's the ONE thing I don't like about groups. I only like well rounded stories with action, adventure, suspense, and romance. You tend to get three females for every one male in a group, and that kills the well rounded story for me. Especially because you always get the chick who's already in love with one of the guys, or who is throwing herself at him in her first post. *shakes head*

You mean sometimes you end up with an RP where every character is shy and they all just kinda stare at each other and it would be OOC for any of them to make the first move?
