I can't drink energy drinks anymore. I used to live off of them, and now they just make me sick, lol. I mean really live off of them, too. I'd pull all nighters two nights in a row, going to work and staying up all night to go fishing, party, etc. It was horrible on my body. I was younger then though, lol.

We thought someone might be trying to break in the apartment and name day is... Well, in my country (and not only), each calendar day has names attached to it. And when the day with your name comes, you celebrate it like small birthday, with gifts and everything. Well, 3rd November is the date with my middle name and I won't get any gifts or anything, 'cause mom can't really go anywhere, and I have school. It's not cool. I wanna be whiny kid for a bit, that's all.

That's a really neat holiday rain! I've never heard of that. I'm sorry it won't be very fun for you. =/ Are you questing anything? Maybe I can gift you something. Because I luffs you. I'm glad no one was breaking in to your apartment!

Aww, Poppet, you don't have to if you don't want. I am just getting general blue mood. But it's very sweet thought of you.

But on side topic of quests, I'm questing a lot of things, actually, especially bunch of recent CIs I managed to miss like a fool and most of the current ones I've not found a seller for yet. Sigh.

Well, I missed Storybook Journey, The Sting in the Tail, Instant Memories, Run for the Hill, Flying High (and few more, but those I don't particularly want so bad)... Pretty Princess Eyes, Perfect Valentine, Creepy Storybook Journey and perhaps Death's Minion and Pullin Moar Faces I will try to buy from fellow users as they're still in Contribution shop.

Hey, Poppet, since you don't have a lot of time to be online this event, will you manage getting one full set of EIs, right?

I think I actually will end up getting them! I've had a little more time than I thought I would. I have to head out soon, but I think I should be fine, and able to get some of my favorite commons, too. Why do you ask? Are you looking for something? Will you be able to get them all?

Yes, I will manage to get them and probably at least half of commons I want, too, so I was just thinking if you needed help with them. :)

Aww! Sweet, thank you! I think I've got it this go 'round. And I'm glad for that. I hate when an event comes around and I can't be here enough. Bums me out. XD

Yeah, I bet. I always get so greedy with commons that I should be ashamed. I am guessing you're more down-to-earth than me.

Maybe. Someone once donated 999,999 to me. *shrugs* I was probably greedier before that. Now I do my best to give back to Mene, even if that means I lose in the end. That's why I wanted to make this thread, where people could win things and gold, and why I like to help my friends out when they need it. Giving makes me happier than purchasing things for me. It might change again though when my goldies run out. Which will be sooner than later. I've only got about 90k left. I've spent at least 10k so far on trying to purchase prizes for the thread, and I'm nowhere near done. I'll estimate at least 50k will go into this thread by the time all is said and done.

And that is so generous of you, to pay forward like that. I like giving, too, not that I'm very good at it, but that's why I don't buy with gold and use tokens use instead, so I get only what I work for.

Isn't it though? Could you imagine? This girl just randomly picked me. Said it looked like I was pretty active on the site and that she wasn't anymore. I've been a member here for so long, and just never dreamed that I'd ever have all the commons and Cis and Eis that I wanted. I saw people giving each other gold and items and people winning contests, and that was never me. I never won anything and no one ever donated to me. I was always jealous, lol. And a little bitter that I'd been a member here for so long and was so active, yet I still couldn't earn enough gold to get things that I wanted without being here 24/7, which just doesn't work for most people.

It was seriously a dream come true, lol. I was able to purchase almost all of the EI's and Ci's, sans the ones I didn't care for or were unavailable, hit the buy all button on the shops cart, and still give back. At one point I thought I'd just save what was left to buy out the CI's as they came out for as long as I could. But it feels a lot better when I can make someone else happy with the gold. I'll run out one day, and it will be impossible for me to get all the CI's then, but that's okay with me. So long as my friends are happy, and maybe I help some people stick around Mene, you know? It's just website gold, nothing that makes any real difference to me. Not nowadays.

It's sweet of you to say that about me, but I don't think so. I just feel like it's the right thing to do. I didn't really earn all that gold, and probably the girl would rather have given to lots of people, too, rather than just one. I know what it feels like to want things and know I'll never have enough gold. I love giving people a little joy, you know? It does make me feel a little bit better though when I can have people do a little bit of 'earning' for it, via contests and chatting, and when people do art for me I always pay higher than what they ask for, same with when I buy things from friends, I always pay more that what they ask.

I've been called stupid for that, if that might surprise you, lol.

Hey, I think she picked the best person to give after all. Not only you fulfilled most of your own dreams, which is a good thing to do and makes you feel happy and accomplished, but you also make so many others happy and fill their dreams, bigger and smaller. I think no one else besides some charity owners would do that with such a money. You feel like it's just the right thing to do, but most people wouldn't even think of this right thing to do, SO, you are amazing person! I guess some people find you impractical, and that's why they call you stupid, but I think you're wise, generous and empathical (sp?). Shared bread fills twice as much, shared joy is twice as big and shared worry is half less heavy, as they say.

:D I really like that saying! Yes! I totally feel that way. I'm going to take the tot to the park for a while. I'll be back in a couple of hours or less, depending on how quickly we run out of food for the ducks.
