I am thankful for...

My camera. It may sound silly, but for me, it's so much more than a simple device. It is a reason, often only one, that makes me leave house, do crazy things I wouldn't ever even consider otherwise (mostly doing risky climbs, but I am very afraid of height). I had long forgotten what it feels to have excited thrill in your stomach until I picked up my photo camera. It gives me hope, that one day I might be able to do something that truly gives me joy. Looking at world through camera's lens (and with it in mind) has been amazing experience that makes me enjoy living so much more. It makes me feel proud and happy when someone says they like my photos and what I show in them and there's little in my life that I actually manage to feel proud of, so it's immensely important.

I just bought the arch today! Been wanting it for a while

well it looks nice in it... Hmmm... Perhaps some orange on the body would enhance it. It is looking good so far!

I wish we had bunch of hazel nuts to hold in hand or something to finish squirrel-ish look.

Getting to see my sweet Soph's smiles first thing in the morning and getting to listen to Bec's little songs she sings to her sister even though they make no sense what so ever, they make me smile even on days when I feel like I can't.

I'm thankful for the fact that my husband and I have always found a way to get through these hard times. There has bee plenty of times we have had no money, no luck, late bills and rent, and even no food.. But we have always managed to find a way to get through it all together until something has come our way. We are both finally working and the bills will start to get caught back up again and we can start getting a few more things for the baby again as well. I just feel really lucky that we actually have made it this far without having to start completely over with a new apartment and that we have been able to keep all of our things and still survive. It's a tough world, but we are making it. I'm thankful for that everyday, even if I don't always stop to think about it in that way all the time.

I Am Thankful For. . .

My family. Even though I only trust my Immediate family, that is really all I need. My mom, dad and sister have always been there for me. No matter what. They never judged me, and even though they feel they were terrible parents, to me they were and still are the best parents I could ask for. And sometimes my sister may get on my nerves, but she is my best friend and I love her to pieces. Even though I may not show it because I am not a sensitive person and I hide my emotions and surround myself with an outer shell that is rock solid. Or even as tough as steel. But sometimes, I can be a soft and caring person.

I basically feel my dad is the best dad in the world since he never makes me feel like I should have never opened my mouth unlike my relatives who criticize me for all the things I do wrong and what I can't do wrong. My family believes in me and that makes me feel great. They are very supportive of me.

I strongly dislike my birthday but my dad and sister want to spoil me and make me like my birthday again which is why I love them so much because they are willing to go to such lengths just for me.

Besides being thankful for having people by my side, I am also thankful to have art, and writing in my life as well as anime. I know it may sound silly, but I am glad these things are in my life as they have taught me so much. Anime has touched my life and taught me to never give up.

Art and writing I am thankful for having since it has been a wonderful blessing to experience and makes me want to become a better artist and writer and bring my imagination to life.
