Have you guys heard on the news about that lady who "died with dignity (committed suicide due to brain cancer)" in oregan?
Is that stuff for real or fake? Never knew that kind of stuff existed!

I think the brain cancer part is what's sad, more than her choice to die.

Euthanasia is quite the ethically controversial topic. I attended the CNN current-events show "Talkback Live" with my 8th grade (advanced) high school algebra I class. Dr. Kavorkian (sp?) was in the spotlight around then.

The choice I can understand, but having to deal with that cancer....not so much

I can understand wanting to die because of the pain. Although i don't like the suicide part.
But if i was the family member i'd want to hold onto my loved one as much as i could.
It is sad. I dunno how i feel about it though, whether i wanna yell and say this is an outrage or say brave girl lol

My heart goes out to each and every individual suffering from chronic and/or terminal illnesses. I am "blessed" with chronic pain every moment of my existence.
