I just realised i need to apply for a few jobs xD

Failing to find any suitable though, damn this down and its dying economy!

I lied and told my parents I applied to some jobs I didn't so they'd stop nagging me. XD I'm so horrible.

I hate applying for jobs. It seems like such an unnatural process. Honestly there are days when I wish the world put more value on life than they do on money. <-<

I agree! And the applications can be a bit...stupid. No one has a perfect online one. I always have something to complain about.

I would not want to work in fast food. I hear it can be crazy at those type of places.

I HATE online applications, they're always bigger than they need to be. Whats the point in having a resume if you have to fill it out on the online ap xD

I just throw my cv/resume at any place in town advertising and hope for the best, its worked most of the time.

I worked in a busy restaurant for over a year, and got promoted to trainee supervisor, but i had to leave cause a relative fell ill >>

It's all temp christmas staff at the moment though, so anything i get will probably end in January :(

There is a restaurant close to my house but they want. online applications the only paper one's I got was for. Big lots and the local bowling alley.

Ugh over the summer I applied to ten stores around my area. Two called for interviews and then I never heard from them again. :\ The finding of a job freaks me out more than actually having a job.

My mom wants me to reapply to department stores I already applied to now that it's seasonal work time.

I've seen every kind of online app under the sun. Some do want just the resume and some want res and more. Lots don't let you use a resume at all. I feel like I have more chance with my resume because it's nicely put together but I don't have much to put in the forms provided because I have no work experience. My biggest peeve though is when there's a limit of characters on the box's provided and it's too small!

Oh yes to the character limit.

I'm trying to put the right words in and impress them with my knowledge but then it tells me i've written too much so i've gotta make it simple and..well...not helping me case!

Well i found a few places in town asking for a resume so i'll do that tomorrow after i go to the careers office. I have to sign on weekly to get £55 to apparently live off xDD

I find it hurtful when it provides a list to pick your education from. Well, my school is not there and has a very long name. I feel if I put in the acronym no one will know it.

I've never tried to just give a resume in. A lot of the places I try for won't even let you apply anyway besides online.

If you haven't been on Gaia in forever you might find yourself to be newly rich which seems cool at first but don't be fooled... Everyone on Gaia is rich now <_< the gold cap was raised. I know this because I still go on Gaia.

thats messed up, they should really fix that and do a flip with a new kind of currency so it doesn't sound so rediculously high xD

I met my Australian sister on Gaia, years ago before it fell apart and the economy went all insane! Now we just talk on Facebook and mail each other cool things. :)

I still enjoy Gaia and the items I just hate the fact that the site is subject to insane inflation. 0-0 honestly I can't buy monthly collectables anymore because they start at like 25 billion gold. It's a relief to come to menewsha and find users that are actually proud of getting a thousand gold because eh earned it.

Heck gaia has gotten money hungry over the years. they got this new thing called fusion now to make items. if I get any of those items I just sell them off. at a low price so people can buy them.
